End sarcasm.
Whether true or not, this issue is aggravating the forums and should probably be addressed.

This should have been addressed months ago.
Heck it should have been addressed a year ago if MP gets implemented so early. It's stunts like this that damage player trust. Especially after what happened with ME3

NOOOOOOOOO
I mean why whats the point of a multiplayer I found that already a waste in ME 3
well I guess I can understand them a bit since these days everything as multiplayer ( angry look at GTA)
But I'm one of the "old" gamers who likes classic Singleplayer games and I hate it when
developers spend their resources on this ****

Sure.
And can we also say that Bioware damaged players' trust by linking SP and MP last time around? I for one believe I have every reason to be distrustful. "Fool me once" and all ...
Yes but the extension is that they have learned from the reaction and won't do it again. Everything BW has done since the initial release of DA2 and ME3 shows that they are trying to rectify the issues with those 2 games.

If they're so confident MP will move more units, why did they sit on this feature until it gets leaked a few months before release....AGAIN?
Same reason Advanced Warfare has yet to formally announce its multiplayer stuff even though everybody knows it's going have one: it's not close to it's promotional time yet. You wait until closer to release before announcing and showing off that sort of thing compared to the singleplayer stuff.

As someone pointed out earlier:
There's a pretty persistent game development myth about resource allocation and how multiplayer somehow siphons resources away that would have otherwise been given to single player. It is not true, not anymore at least. Too many publishers have been burned by feature creep with enormous features like multiplayer to do so anymore.
If you're interested in actual facts from actual developers on the topic, you may find this link from David Gaider's tumblr enlightening:

I can see why people might think the achievements on their own are fun, but the social aspect is actively harmful to my enjoyment.
I shouldn't have to jump through extra hoops just to keep my gameplay private.
Like, you're going have to explain this one to me. How exactly do bits of data tagged to your profile changing depending on what you accomplish harm your enjoyment of a video game?

Honestly MP doesn't bother me if it has it or not, my connection to the PS3 isn't strong enough to use it. I can get online but thats all. GTA5/AC4 both have MP, and online capabilities to be used in SP, I can't use either one, it doesn't stop me from enjoying SP either way.

nothing wrong with multiplayer when it's implemented properly. ME3 multiplayer was decent, I liked it especially when I could find people to team up with.

It's been promotional time for several months now.
Now it just looks like they're dangling enough candy to get us i the van before springing this on it

People should not be surprised by multiplayer being in the game. You dont have to play it and i dont think you will have to play it this time like with me3.

First of all, I dislike the term video game.Like, you're going have to explain this one to me. How exactly do bits of data tagged to your profile changing depending on what you accomplish harm your enjoyment of a video game?
Second, achievements provide information about my gameplay. I'd rather they didn't. As they are, that means I'm aware that someone can see some aspect of what I'm doing. I shouldn't have to worry about that when I'm playing a single-player game. I would.much rather relax and focus on roleplaying my character.

Believe? Single-player always had a cornucopia of problems and one of them was distinctly related to MP; one which Bioware was forced to eventually patch. Remember how you couldn't get the high asset destroy ending without multiplayer for the longest time until Bioware made some changes?
Those changes wern't made untill the forced multiplayer had "become a huge success", by being forced on people...You speak the truth.

Are people so desperate for multiplayer to be in the game or worried that it will be in the game that they have lost all sense?
Why the hell would they not mention such a major selling point until like three months from release?
It's been painfully obvious for a long now that Inquisition just doesn't have a multiplayer mode.

Personally I don't buy into the whole "Forced Multiplayer" for Mass Effect 3... if it was forced, it failed to be very effective as the "Best" ending was easily the worst of the bunch.

I find it more likely that if there was no multiplayer mode, it would have been officially dismissed by now. I believe the idea is that BioWare wants to announce it by showing it, and it's not polished enough to show yet.

The whole point of the series was to destroy the reapers. Not join them. Alot of people went with that option.

If multiplayer exists, it is likely Bioware would wait to announce such a major feature until a major press milestone to make such an announcement. Between today and launch, we still have:
- Comic Con, which just started today
- Gamescom, August 13-17
- PAX Prime, August 29 - September 1
- Tokyo Game Show, September 18-19
The marketing team's goal is not to maximize the fanbase's interest level four months before launch. The marketing team's goal is to continue to release bits and pieces of information to maintain interest until it peaks just before the release of the game. This is why the information is released slowly, one piece at a time.

Also it...really didn't take that long to get the bare minimum of characters imported for the 5 seconds of animation or so tacked on the end. At least compared to the average play time for a playthrough of ME3, anyway.
And it honestly just doesn't make sense in general because one would think people who do not like multiplayer in their game...would not play the multiplayer in their game. IE one would think the kind of person who would care a lot about the fact that they were locked from 5 seconds of animation tacked on the end unless they played MP would probably be the sort of person who never touched the mode and instead kept complaining until Bioware changed it.

You main character actually surviving or not, is a pretty big thing. Even if it was shown in a 5 second animation.
