A /dag/er* tried to fake an achievement but couldn't get the right font.

If the font is proprietary to EA/Origins, that's a sign the leak is legit or someone made them by copying + pasting letters from other Origin achievements.

The failure of a DAGna isn't proof the leak is legit, though I believe it is.

Minor boss probably to do with the other spoilerrific achievement about freeing the wardens, which is probably where we get the wardens as allies

What exactly is it that's convincing so many people that this is legitimate. I know it's nothing new to have Achievement lists either leaked early, or released early, but I don't see anything that lends a high degree of credibility to this so far. And I come from this believing multiplayer is just an inevitable announcement anyway.

who knows, I hope he's just a minor boss but its possible he's the big bad.. he's the only known person that i can think of that would rip a hole into the Fade, maybe he was trying to get back to the Black City to find the answer to what the taint that Avernus wrote in one of his journals.

I think I'm leaning towards big bad, mainly because I see achievements for finishing the game on higher difficulty but not one for completing the game in general. I have yet to see a game that doesn't provide that, granted it's an early list but at that moment it's looking like Cory's the final mission.

I can tell you right now this is fake I have the per-ordered  copy of the deluxe edition and nothing of the sort is showed. Not to mention in the so called  "leak" the game that person has in his/her library doesn't even have the cover pic LOL  here is how IT ACTUALLY LOOKS LIKE i will put the pics under spoiler

I recall someone in another thread pointing out that the achievement images appeared to be photoshoped.

 

This of course is added to my own little paranoia about this being released on a Russian site, which has since been linked on these forums (and elsewhere), and likely has increased traffic which may have more malicious purposes than leaking information about a game.

I'm approaching it with the mind frame that it's potentially legitimate, didn't really see anything to make me think otherwise just yet, most of them seem like fairly standard game mechanic fair.

For one thing it looks like a draft with placeholders etc, I doubt if someone faked it that they would make it look so much like a draft

Not sure if it's legit or not but most leaks with Bioware, like all the ME3 and DAI leaks, turned out to be true so I'm avoiding reading that achievement list to save myself from any spoilers.

It sounds more convenient than legit to be honest. The wording of some is fishy. But this can be my paranoia speaking. I won't bother much with it unless I see at least one confirmed that matches.

Exactly. There's nothing on that list of achievements that someone that followed the forums couldn't pull together to play off of fan expectations. I have a hard time believing that all the story achievements sans (maybe?) the Mythral one have to do with things we already know about. Bioware doesn't exactly have a good track record for leaks but this just reeks of fake. Usually, achievements for games don't leak until a month or two before release. When the inevitable list gets leaked for the 360 achievements, now that I'll believe.

Hmmm it looks like something that could easily be fake and anyone with knowledge of the game could have made those up. I am not sure though. 

 

If it is real then that one big spoiler is annoying but it looks like there is confirmation of a certain city I always wanted to see, so yay for that I guess.
