What exactly is it that's convincing so many people that this is legitimate.

I'm not sure I care if it's legitimate or not. It's something new to talk about.

They're not going to confirm it.

If they lock the thread or delete it, they know we'll just assume that means it's correct. All they can do is deny it and they don't like denying rumors because then people make up rumors just to see if it will be denied.

The achievements aren't that spoilerish at all tho, save for a huge spoiler like third entry (even though I pretty much expected it).

That said seems like there are a lot of interesting stuff in the game aside from story. Also cross-class combos YAY!

Just for the record, Russia is no stranger to having a history of hacking Steam and Origin accounts. I would not discount the possibility that this is an attempt to put malicious software on the PC's of the curious.

Well...thankfully I generally avoid the Story discussion sub-forum so I have not seen that conversation...thank you for exposing me to this horror... 

 

Then again Cullen seems to be the DA version of Tali...so it's not unsurprising. I'll just be over in the corner facepalming.

These are barely spoilers. The Halamshiral one is something that's already there as part of the region interview with the level designer. The enemy character one would be on the "most likely" list of many players that played the DA 2 DLCs and at least thought about it for a second. 

 

These are nothing compared to what Bioware revealed in their trailers and demos. The enemy character one will most likely have a positive effect on people and make them look forward to the game even more. That's what it did to me at least.

I'd be more worried about keyloggers personally. That's usually how account information gets stolen. Actual computer "Virus" infections are comparatively hard to get, but things like keyloggers can be installed just by visiting the wrong page. (Noscript is your friend)

If it has viruses then it would trigger when you extract it, since the virus would be packed in the rar

How else are you going to know about "Untamed Va-jay-jay's: Guess what sexy style is back?" or those "Sex sessions that ended in the ER!" or best "Why you should be a jealous b!tch." You would need to know that last one so you can understand why your woman is a big jealous b!tch.
