I KNEW IT!!

 

(And this is about one of the spoilers from the list, not a gif, so don't click the tag if you don't want to read any possible spoilers, you have been warned. Ahem. Anyway...)

I just KNEW that it was Corypheus that was behind the fade tears! I always sided with Larius in DA2 Legacy, and I knew there was something off about him after the big battle and he walks away, a completely different persona.

 

I think that's a bit premature, DA2 had achievements for all the game hard bosses, including the optional ones. In fact, that list is very light in term of bosses.

 

It's also missing "max a companion's approval" that have been in both previous games. Missing achievements for taking side in the Mage/Templar war and Orlaisian Civil war (both DAO and DA2 had achievement for story choices). Missing an achievement for trying all the classes. Hell, it's missing an achievement for completing the game outside of difficulty (which DA2/DAO had).

 

Also, the "spend X talent points in a single talent tree with any one character" looks wrong to me. The previous games had buy all talents in a single talent tree.

That was conversation? Really a game having or not having multiplayer is 50/50 in this age. I see the usual doomsayers (because having MP is terrible in their minds) saying they have it right. I can tell you what side a coin will land on half the time it doesn't make me a prophet.

 

I am not a MP person but given that one thing that happened in that one game made by BioWare that many blow out of proportion I have no issue with it.

I'm thinking it's fake just cause of the lack of mp achievements. One achievement makes it look like someone just threw it in there to get people hype for something that may not even exist.

This... sounds fake, the way the achievements are written. None of it reveals any sort of surprise, and the vocabulary seems... just not quite right. I know that the name of the romance achievement is a copy of the name of the WoW Valentine's Day event.

My gut tells me Bioware would have responded by now with a simple "its fake" if it was fake but maybe they haven't responded because they are trying to figure out how to approach the situation? I could be 100% wrong and it could be fake but i think by now at least one Bioware guy on the forums has saw this and would have posted a simple "fake" if it was.

 

Actually i kind of hope it's fake only because i'm sort of disappointed that it's all there is lol.

I believe the current mode of thinking is that if they post a its fake thing it will just encourage people to keep coming up with false rumors to try to get info.

Ever considered the possibility that the achievements are not all added/done? The list looks severely unfinished, with some of achievements still not having the "number of" decided yet. If it's fake, all we can say is "good talk" and move along. If it isn't, just know that what you see there, need not be all of them.

DS2 had no MP achievements. This list is most likely legit.

When has Bioware ever comfirmed leaks until marketing says so? lol

 

When Arrival achievements where leaked, Chris had to get permission to confirm Arrival was real.

If they have a trophy for Full House: Gather all possible party members, then I like to see a trophy for Empty House: Have the least amount of party members at the end

The 'look' seems placeholder, but the achievements themselves probably aren't. This is most likely what we're going to get.

When has a leak ever been false? I can't recall once since DA2.

 

Buuuuut...I'm not entirely sure Cory is our big bad. The fact that he is the only one there as a boss as an argument for both cases:

 

1. That he is the main one which is why he is obviously the first one there.

 

2. He's not a spoilery boss hence why they threw him in early.

The achievement for "A Capital Occasion" is also odd, given the neutrality of the Inquisition.

Well, "gather" can mean many things.

Another possibility is we're looking at the achievement list for an earlier version of the game (possibly the one that would have shipped last fall), and not the 'updated' one.

 

But I'm still leaning towards this one being the real deal.

I doubt it's that person who is the main antagonist. Probably just someone to kill. Might have something to do with the Grey Wardens in the game though.

I agree, I doubt that this character is the big bad of DAI.  Probably just tied to the Grey Wardens.

Well given the general lack of a dev posting at all today we can't take the lack of posts about this topic as evidence.

That assumes that they wanted it to appear fake instead of wanting it to appear believable.

I don't think it's complete either, if it is indeed real. Where the bosses and stuff? I don't see as much as story/boss related achievements as I had thought there'd be. And only 1 MP achievement?

I'll have to play it on Nightmare first time through. If I spoil myself with lower difficulties I'll never get that cheevo.
