The robot was a waste of a squadmate. I would prefer an ME2 squadmate. It was better as a hologram. It had no reason to have a platform.
Totally agree. Jacob would be the perfect choice, returning to the Alliance with Shepard and getting some depth and edge.

Lol I could only imagine the complaints if Jacob was the one we kept along.
Thinking about it though, the complaints would roll in no matter what, because it would be "Why [insert this name] and not [that name]?" Too many characters, too many variables, too many permutations of who lives and who dies.
