Hello everyone!

I'm pretty clueless about Dragon Age Inquisition.

I wonder if there are reliable information about the character Tallis. It will have some role in Dragon Age Inquisition? If this is already an outdated news, I apologize.  My doubt is sincere.

We'll see in November 21st.

I don't think we've heard any news of Tallis appearing (or not appearing) in DAI. So if we see her, we see her.

Nothing official has been mentioned.  We know her voice actor was at BioWare at some point during development, but she did not say anything about voice acting.  Seemed more like she stopped in to get all the spoilers she could snag!  I would probably do the same in her position.  Felicia Day is awesome!

I don't know if she is, but I hope so. The first time I played through MotA I was fairly ambivalent about it. Having played it again last week, I found it quite enjoyable.

Time will tell, I suppose.

I think it unlikely we'll meet her since Iron Bull is the official Qun intelligence gatherer for the part of Thedas we are in.   I suppose he might mention her.

Of course she could still be running solo.    I doubt her superiors were very pleased with her actions in MoA; they had specifically ordered her not to interfere.   Either this was because they didn't want to alert the Orlesians to the value of the information on offer, or in fact it was a set up by them and that guy who was allegedly a Tal-Vashoth was in fact a double agent.    So either she is back in Par Vollen being re-educated into proper submission to the Qun or has in fact become Tal-Vashoth herself.

However, that said, I suppose she could form some sort of sub-quest involving Iron Bull.   He could get orders from his superiors to track her down and we have to decide if we want to help or hinder their plans.   The fact that the MoA plot involved Orlais does make a direct link to DAI.   If nothing else we may find out more about that plot thread.

Note: Talis and Hawke are likely to be persona non grata with Celene.   Duke Prosper was a very close ally and cousin to Celene, one of her chief supporters, so any enthusiasm shown towards his killers, particularly since it was not done as part of the Game, is not likely to make you popular with her.

Actually, the reason Talis felt she could get away with what she was doing is because her superiors DIDN'T specifically tell her not to interfere.  She tells that to Hawke outright.  Her bosses just didn't see it as a matter worthy of attention.

I would say it would not be unreasonable to encounter her.  Lileana is head of the Inquisition spy network, and she also has history with Talis.  If Talis is in the operational area, it is possible Lil might call on their unspecified shared history to get info the Inquisition needs.

I'm indifferent to Tallis. I kinda wanted Hawke to take the list cause Tallis played around too much with the truth. It didn't happen. So ok. What now?

If there are any ramifications to those actions from MotA in DAI, and Tallis shows up, then I welcome them. New protagonist, and new facts. I want to see it played out to a conclusion.

I've never understood the need for the developers to consistently put Hawke into a position of impotence, with the list being the last example of that. Forcing Hawke into allowing Tallis to take the list simply made the entire story pointless. You basically paid money to help the Qunari, which is grating if you're anti-Qunari.

I'd rather not see her again, but if I have to I would rather be able to actually conflict with her and properly dispose of her, instead of being forced to help her along and tolerate her hypocritical nonsense.

Unless she's changed and isn't a giant hypocrite anymore.

I personally hope not. I really disliked her deception and found the character's perkiness to be irritating (but I suppose the latter reason is equally telling of my own personality).

I sure hope not.

She's a pretty derpy character and pretty much fanservice.

I mean, Zevran and Shale which were actual companions don't make it into DA3 and she does? Madness.

Hey, let's look it in hindsight: if that list had ended up in Orlesian hands, Iron Bull would have been apprehended and he wouldn't appear in Inquisition. Letting Tallis win is imperative! :D

Jokes aside, Iron Bull may mention that situation in the game, perhaps in a conversation with Varric.

Would Iron Bull be aware of it personally (since Tallis went to get the list of their own volition), or might Varric mention it to Iron Bull since our dwarven companion was privy to what happened (given his recounting the story to Cassandra, whether or not he was actually there)?

I rather liked Tallis, myself. Wouldn't mind if she shows back up.

There was some theorizing a while back in the Iron Bull thread that she and the Bull might know each other.

I hope she shows back up. I'll be able to rip off her ears and throw her off of a cliff. I do not like her nor her self serving nature.

Good question. I think it would depend on what happened to Tallis after MotA. If she returned to the Ben-Hassrath as a hero, then Iron Bull could be aware of the events. Maybe the Qunari underestimated Salit's real danger? But if it's in party banter, I think that Varric would be the first to mention it. As in "have you ever met an elf named Tallis?" (probably followed by a "yes, over 20. Did you have a specific Tallis elf in mind?").

My concern is also that because Iron Bull is a follower of the Qun. Soon, I was intrigued would see Tallis again. I really like this character and Bioware facebook, there a picture with Felicia Day had a meeting with the staff of the company. So I was hopeful. I hope to see her again.

While true that you would be helping some Qunari, she makes it clear that keeping the list out of Orlesian hands helps a whole lot of non-Qunari.  Many of the people on the list are no longer followers of the Qun, and the list only represents a segment of the people who would be harmed by its release.  The children of the people on the list would have been persecuted, regardless of their beliefs.  Non-Qunari friends, family, and other close associates would also have been targeted because of their association.  Tallis is adamant that she's trying to get the list back to save everyone who might be hurt by it, not just the sleeper agents.

Giving the list to Hawke solves both problems, to be sure, but Tallis taking it is not just a 'help the Qunari' move.
