First i'd like to start out saying this isnt about the new ammo mechanic as opposed to the overheating system.

During all the Streams of Devs playing the game i've noticed each character has at least 1 type of Ammo Mod skill. Will these ammo skills effect everyone in the party or will they just effect the person who activated it. Christina i know you are here. i saw you lock a thread a few minutes ago dont hide.

From screenshots I've seen all ammo powers are for the character using them only, but the level 4 evolution adds in a nice wrinkle. You can either enhance the effects of the ammo, like more often and longer freezing for cryo, splash damage for incendiary, and I forget what disruptor ammo gets. The other option is to evolve it into a squad power, granting all squad members that ammo type.



Both are viable, though with certain squad members also having ammo powers you have to make a choice.

i have a question... what happens if you run out of ammo clips (or thermal clips I guess they are called)

do you need to buy them or do you just get replenished at certain stations like medi gel and grenades in the first one
