I can move it just cant change what its looking at. that is to say if its looking at the start location nothing I do moves it. I can zoom in or out I can rotate the camera I just cant move were its actually looking. makes doing anything kinda hard.
any help would be nice. ive tried every key on the keyboard and looked at the options I saw no help there.
Hi. Uhm, camera controls are in general:
Scroll to zoom out or in.
Control+left click to move
Control+right click to rotate.
Is this what you were asking for ? 
And Control+shift+left click & drag to move up and down.
Also, at some point the zoom may reach its limit, and you may find the camera difficult to rotate and face an object. To reset it, double-click on any object in the Area Contents palette, which will focus the camera on the object, then zoom in on it with the scroll wheel to a comfortable distance.
thx guys for the info. the last time I played with the toolset was years ago. Was going mad not able to move the camera. as you can imagine trying to make a module for myself was not easy when you can't look around properly.
