And they're all idiots.
Oh look, another person on the internet who thinks everybody who disagrees with them is an idiot when it comes to RPGs, because apparently their opinion is fact.
How original =P

I was fine with it since I think the Pokemon thing added some more interesting wrinkles to the combat, but really it's a small change that made a gigantic difference that puts XIII-2 over the top: Instant paradigm changes, no more crappy change animation that throws off your timing.
I can understand that, though if you knew what you were doing it wasn't a huge deal. You do it at the END of a turn for your character, and by the time the animation is done (and it only occurs during your first transition while on the ground) they've recharged.
After that it was near instantaneous, and they even had the whole go-through-two-turns-then-switch-to-not-have-to-recharge-ATB thing going, which was fun to work with.
It was for the most part, but at least there were some places you could branch off. Which is far more than can be said for XIII.
Pulse? It may be twenty hours in, but I personally spent at least forty, more like fifty hours there, grinding, on my first playthrough.
Though I'll agree that the lack of towns and sidequests and such was kind of bad (in retrospect moreso, I don't mind it in-game).

What's so funny about it?

That you would think a game sarees known for it's massive railroading and auto dialog is rpg of the last gen.

I said the trilogy as a whole, Not Mass Effect 3. ME3 had some flaws, But the overall attempt is one of the best.

ME2 had the railroading issue and also started the auto dialog issue.
Don't worry, there are a few people here who pretty much do nothing but bash Bioware and praise certain other games that I won't mention so I don't start something.
On that note, I haven't seen Seb in a while.
No, I criticize their bad games or games that don't deserve the praise it gets. I'm looking forward to DAI so nice try at trying to make everyone who does not think Bioware games are flawless trolls.

No one is talking about "flawless." I've made more than my share of Bioware criticisms. But when all of one's comments about a game or company are negative, a pattern emerges.
And no one said "troll," either. There's a difference between someone who just goes around bashing things and someone who does it deliberately to rile people up. I can't think of anyone here offhand who fits the second category (at least, Ghost's Purgatory-wise).

Some minor dialogue problems, Yes. But Games like Skyrim have narrative issues that the ME games could never have if the team remained as it is. Unfortunately, The team has dissolved. I believe that's the reason for ME3's multiple major flaws.

You seem to be implying all my comments about Bioware are negative. Adorable.

They where not minor.

I've never seen you make a positive one. That may be my fault. But it may not be.

In ME2, They were. Sometimes, Auto-Dialogue was necessary. Sometimes, They over-used it.

Then that's your fault as anyone that knows me knows I loved BG2, JE, played TOR for two years and enjoyed it until they really started to make stupid design choice, loved DAO and looking forward to DAI. You seem to just pick all the negatives and ignore all the good.

The fault may be that my impressions of you are mostly from before we knew much about DA I--and, again, from GP, which turned into a cesspool.
Might & Magic VI, VII and VIII trilogy!

Most amusing action-rpgs in 1st person in outdated 3D graphic with interesting stories and ENOUGH walls of texts (not 800K lines of conversation or something like that!)
You've already turned down I know, but I cannot simply stop playing these games!
Might & Magic VI, VII and VIII trilogy!
I would be more secretive about the fact that you are a time traveler, shady organisations might track you down.
My reaction after reading that list:

A list that has Diablo 3 and Skyrim on it?
Prepare yourself for butthurt.
Also in a move that surprises nobody ever, Planescape Torment took top spot on a "best RPGs of all time" list.

So some people actually managed to read all those +1000000 text lines and embrace its magnificent, like they had no life? I wonder how many months they imprisoned themselves in their PC rooms to finish PS:T!

I've not actually played it.
It's somewhere on the list of games to play when I get more free time.
