on that note, Korra's "water tribe" callback is already one of the best moments in the series

Indeed, dialog options regarding the Fade and Arcane arts open up new dialog, while another perk 'History Knowledge' opens up dialog options regarding history or the Chantry.
Quite impressive. Not only does it add more to the gameplay but also allows us to shape our character in a different manners.
Well the question now is, how you unlock perks?

I love the Sparta Remix of this scene:

Well one perk was locked and required Antivan Tailoring (beats me what it is).

Could be by leveling or completing certain quests.
*needs to have an unlock for the consumption of juice*

Antivan Tailoring is right above it.
So parts of the dialogue system can be branched and unlocked, through the use of attributes and stats? That certainly sounds promising

Indeed it is. Strange why the Imperial Court Tailoring is locked then.

Its misspelled. Should be Antivan Trolling.

You have to get the Antivan Tailoring perk first. Sort of like the skill trees how you have to unlock one skill to gain access to another. In this case, each one grants you 15 more spots in your inventory.

Ooooooh

Yeah, basically Antivan Tailoring is unlocked but not yet purchased. Being unlocked just means you are able to purchase it immediately if you so desire, whereas Imperial Court has a base skill prerequisite, and therefore locked from purchase at the moment.
Am I reading too far into this or is it likely that the first companions will be Varric, Casandra, and Solas?
That makes sense. I'm hoping that they'll let us put together a well-rounded party as early as possible.

Dorian seems to be connected to the Venatori, and Cole to the Red Templars, so I think they'll be introduced fairly early on also as they start to show us the major enemy factions.
So just watched the latest demo/Cameron interview. One thing I noticed was that when the Inquisitor was walking around with the veil fire torch, it would visually be dropped to the ground when combat starts up. Then after combat finishes, she would have to deliberately pick up the torch from the ground. I thought this type of detail was very cool and definitely a nice touch.
I am so hyped for this game!
It looks like they got Fallout, Assassins Creed, Kingdoms of Amalur and Kindom Under Fire all over my Dragon Age.
And I'm okay with it.
I'm still worried about the lack of dialogue options. They have told us we can have different tones and such in dialogue yet every conversation we have seen its just 3 or 4 options and all neutral. Please bioware show us a video of the different types of dialogue. Everything else looks good though I am liking the combat looks like a good mix of DAO and DA2.

It would make sense. Cass seems essential to forming the Inquisition, Varric has been traveling with her, and Solas seems necessary to understanding your Rift powers.
I wouldn't read too much into it. It's likely that for the demo they just put the companions they were going to use in it + Varric and Cassandra.
It's also likely you can meet them in different order based on what places you visit first (like in DAO if you went to Orzammar last you got Oghren last, if you go there first you can have Oghren early).

I wouldn't worry. In a lot of the materials they've released they've been pretty neutral, and thats a better way to get the general feel of the game to the public.
If they go with the polite/stern/sarcastic options strictly through a video/conference, then people that tune in might go "Oh lame, i don't wanna be a sissy/angry/jerk. Why is the game like that?" while the more neutral approach is "Oh I'm just a guy/girl"
party selection screen looks great. and lol at Varric's selection picture focusing on the smirk and the chest hair XD
