Heck I hated being called "Warden" . Let's see I've got that jerk Duncan and the loser Allistar...no I don't want to associate with these tools.
That might be true, but you don't really get to choose what other people call you. Warden is your title, rank and job description, and other people in the game world have to find some way to identify the player character.
In Inquisition's case, I think it's a really interesting plot point that some religious characters literally see the Inquisitor as a herald of Andraste. You don't have to believe what people call you, and I'm sure there'll be an option to express doubt about their views.
(A big theme of the game is faith, after all, and discovering the truth about the Inquisitor might shake the faith of many major religions, if things like the elven gods are also involved.)
