I feel like the Devs are eluding to another battle type showing - maybe the ogre? Or whatever it was. At least that's the impression I got from the 'last time we showed a Dragon battle' tweet. I'd REALLY like to see the CC or Skyhold.
Either way - Shark Week AND Gamescom in the same week is a good time!
As someone who decides to attend the gamescom rather late, could someone explain to me what exactly does it mean in practice that the day tickets have been sold out already and there is only afternoon tickets available. What am I gonna miss out?

Afternoon tickets can only be purchased from 14:00 onwards if enough people who already had day tickets have left the premises. It is thus not guaranteed that you can get tickets at all, even though that is an unlikely extreme.
More likely is that an absurd amount of people will be waiting in line for those afternoon tickets and that the available contingent will be sold out almost immediately.
So if you're late and/or unlucky, you'll not get a ticket at all.

I have to be honest when I say that right now the most intriguing thing I'm looking fwd to at Gamescom is this "You've Been Chosen" thing. I just today saw the live action teasers--which I loved because it's mysterious. And then I checked out that fake blog thing abt "Seeking Henna" and those posts. But I love that kinda advertising. Where they try to blend the fictional in w/the mundane real life. The blog post does this. It's pretty cool, I think. (although reading the youtube comments abt the teasers kinda sucked.)
I am def intrigued. I really, really hope it's not an MMO, or....idk..I hope it's not lame cuz right now they have my attention.

That event is at like 10am my time... after i've stayed up late. I don't want to put too much faith in it, you never know what it could turn out to be. It could be AN AWESOME GAME or a little bitty ispy game for all we know...

okay. okay. *breathes* you're right. i must def temper any and all expectations...and hopes and dreams! on this. because I'm terribly excited. too excited. i was over at redditt...and i don't ever go there. ever. but the path took me there some kinda way and theres just...there's puzzles, and ciphers and clues and alt reality...stuffs. and ppl trying to figure it all out.
if it turns out all this promo--and it's quite alot and quite intricate stuff--is just for sum Facebook thing...i will vomit. and in all seriousness i will cry. or at least tear up mightily.
that is all.

Why should they be upset? UK is the only timezone you list for europe and nobody was ever upset about that. And it's not, that those events are only followed by people from english-speaking countries.
