Your called the "Herald of Andraste" not just "Herald." How can you be that if you don't even believe she exists. Or why would you be called that if you believe her religion is a malevolent one?

Because you can't control what other people call you or how they react to you?

You might not be Andrastian, but other people are, and they might see you in a certain light. I'm pretty sure it was implied that other groups might demonize you for the same reason.

Because the people who call you that believe that someone as awesome as you must be there by her will, even if you don't. It's sort of like how a rich atheist's gifts to charity might be accredited to God's will by the religious despite the atheist believing that he acted for his own reasons. Adding to that, I'm sure there's a whole lot of Andrastians praising the Maker for creating the Dwarven or Dalish Warden.
