Seriously? Have they decided to make canon Warden and Hawkes?

 

God, I hope not. That would ruin the game for me. 

 

Also is that supposed to be Warden commander or Alistair?

You can rewind the stream on the EA website. I did and it wasn't laggy anymore.

Cole approved of saving the soldiers so it does seem like there will be a visual approval pop up since he got +5 approval. For some reason I thought they said it wouldn't be like that. Idc either way, just noticed it.

Maybe. I'm not jumping to conclusions but I am concerned. I hate that they are also both human and caucasian. I want a couple options.

 

I could imagine my Hawke cut her hair.(she had black hair and it would work since she 's a mage)

But it's going to be harder if this is my female mage warden .

I wouldn't jump to conclusions yet. They most likely showed canon F!Hawke so people would recognize her instantly. But who knows. We'll have to wait and see.

Probably depends on what you import regarding race/gender. I admit I'm not a fan of them showing up and getting default appearances for each race/gender combo but what can you do?

 

Give us an option to customize their faces.

You can re watch the stream itself, it has pause and play thingys, just go back to the beginning and et voila, you can rewatch the entire thing.

No use freaking out about canon Warden and Hawke's unless we know for certain that's the case. Of course the models they use for the trailer aren't going to look like everyone's individual characters.

That's DEFINITELY female Hawke, but are we sure that's 'The' Warden? There are so many variables for how the Warden looks, so it could just be a random Grey Warden that happened to be there.

 

I need confirmation please o.o. Also how it will work!

It's a good thing I used the default Hawke.  At least I'll know what he'll look like in DAI.

Why did I watch this on IGN?

 

They missed the first 5 minutes, played 1 minute, then spent 10 minutes playing a slideshow. Then they played the LAG-ruined portion again from the beginning - which was 15 seconds of gameplay. Then the screen froze for a couple of minutes. Then you saw someone quit to the browser and hit refresh and lo and behold... Titanfall... a game I don't care about.

i know everyone is squealing over hawke and the warden but for me the 150 hours for a completionist game.. that is fantastic if its true.

Totally disagree- The face model is entirely generic looking and bears very little resemblance facial feature wise to how her model looked in Origins. And then they toss in a random mole on her face for kicks I guess.

 

And I don't know if its the lighting or what but her Origins style robes look more pink here than purple? Eh.

 

Don't get me wrong, DAO Morrigan will always be my Morrigan, but considering how horrible Morrigan has looked in basically every screenshot I've seen, I found this model to be acceptable for once.
