I hope we can choose what we're the herald of. So there's a few "herald" options.

 

'The Herald' seems to be one of those things that people call the Inquisitor.  I don't think we will have that much control over what people will call the Inquisitor - so the majority of people, who are Andrastian, will call him/her the Herald Of Andraste. We won't get a choice in that, as it is not what the Inquisitor will choose to call themselves.  But I recall hearing we'll get to decide how much we play up or play down that veneration.

You can't choose what other people decide to call you.

 

I guess but it would be a bit silly for people to be calling you the herald of andraste if you're say, a devout Dalish. I'd love to be called "the herald of the fade" or "the herald of the end" or stuff like that. They can still shorten it to herald half the time.

Totally disagree- The face model is entirely generic looking and bears very little resemblance facial feature wise to how her model looked in Origins. And then they toss in a random mole on her face for kicks I guess.

 

 

Totally disagree she is instantly recognisable as Morrigan. They aren't using the same engine as DAO and art style is different from both DAO and DA2 so of course the model isn't exactly the same. As for them doing things for kicks thats completely unfair.

Why is everyone immediately jumping to the conclusion that they're taking away the customization of our Warden/Hawke?
 
One bloody trailer and we're immediately assuming Bioware has somehow stabbed us in the back?
 
Don't get me wrong, I'm really bloody surprised they even showed what was clearly at least FemHawke, but I really doubt they'll have us fall back to the default.

Yeah, we don't have enough information yet. Showing Marian's face - along with the Champion gear - just means that they wanted it to be perfectly clear that this is freaking Hawke guys. It means nothing other than that: she might be customizable, and she might not be.
