Here’s Your First Look At Wonder Woman In ‘Batman V Superman’

Gal's looking good in that Wonder Woman costume. A lot of people were bitching and moaning about how skinny she was and how small she was in the chest area but I always thought it was a decent casting decision. Hopefully this pick will put most if not all of the fanboy doubts to rest.

Speaking of the costume, it looks good, less like spandex and more like body armour. The costume was always going to make or break the character, it was either going to look like spandex body suit ( like the one Adrianne Palicki wore for that pilot ) , a swimsuit or something more practice. I wonder if that is the final colour scheme or if that is just colour palette chosen for the sake of style.

She looks good in the costume but it doesn't really come off to me as WW.  If someone just posted that pic and said this is a character from an upcoming movie without saying which, WW wouldn't immediately come to my mind.  Hopefully those colors are just washed out in the picture and they look more red and goldish in person.

She looks alright. Now let's wait for the trailers and see the acting. Still doesn't change the fact this sequel is overcrowded as f*ck. Wonder Woman needs her own movie.

The Avengers worked because Iron Man, Captain America, Thor and Hulk all had individual films to establish them. Black Widow and Hawkeye had cameos in these films. Shield had a background presence in most of those films. The Tesseract and Loki were also introduced in earlier films so right from the get go Joss Whedon could hit the ground running at full speed without having to introduce anything or anyone.

This is only Henry Cavil's second outing as Superman and not everyone was happy with the tone of the first Man if Steel movie. I presume they will be continuing the Clark Kent/Lois Lane love story in this sequel as well as dealing with some of the fall out from Superman's apocalyptic city levelling battle with Zodd in MOS. They are introducing Lex Luther and he will supposedly play a big role. They are also introducing a new Batman who has no ties to any of the previous films. Wonder Woman is making her theatrical debut so this will be the first time many will be seeing her for the first tine and on top of that they are also introducing Aqua Man. DC and WB are biting off more than they can chew. Each of these characters should have gotten a so,o movie to establish themselves before they brought them all together, even if Superman V Batman was 3 hours long it would not be enough time to do anything productive with each character.

Best Wonderwoman as a poster so far. I wish she could have acted better in the 2011 movie, so I would bother watching it!

What would be nice is if they released 5 - 10 minute shorts just focusing on each character so we can see them in action.  I know it would help for a lot of people because they just can't see the actor/actress playing those kind of roles.

 

EG:

 

Have Ben Affleck Batman breaking up a Joker gang, taking them down one by one with a final fight with Harley Quinn

 

Have Gal Gadot fighting Cheetah or even a Fury, I'm pretty sure whether or not she can hold her own in a fight will show if she can portray Wonder Woman properly.

But at the same time, this is Wonder Woman, no ones ever satisfied with her costume.

I think this was her best one btw.

But apparently that means I'm crazy. That star spangled stripper crap she's most well known for is so much better why?

At least Synder gave her the dignity of wearing armor. Like an Amazon should.
