So I was wondering if you decide to roll as a Qunari in this game how do you think the romance path will fair for you? From the DA wiki pages,

Qunari do not marry or choose romantic partners. A Qunari's most important relationship is that with his or her colleagues. They do not generally associate mating with love. They are capable of feeling and forming emotional bonds with one another, but do not express it sexually, as those who do are re-educated by the Ben-Hassrath.

Since that is their cultural viewpoint on romance do you think Bioware will incorporate this into the game if you play as a Qunari or if you choose to pursue Iron Bull?

Or perhaps more than likely our character will be an exception to that rule, we have full control and all so it will be irrelevant. A part of me would like to see this unique path if you choose to play as a Qunari or if you attempt to romance IB. It would make a nice contrast to all the other races, it is quite alien from the others.

Our Qunari was not raised as a member of the Qun, so what the Qun allows probably will not effect them.

As for Iron Bull..he's already breaking the rules by sleeping around...I'm guessing part of his romance (and friendship) involves either convincing him to turn away from the qun or convincing him to re-affirm his following of it, depending on the player.

You're not playing a Qunari "Qunari."...so your pc doesn't follow the Qun.

The Iron Bull if he gets back to his people will probably dump the Inquisitor.

Well, we're Vashoth - we not only aren't part of the Qun, we never were part of it in the first place. In all likelihood, the Qunari Inquisitor can be as completely un-Qunarilike as you please.

I did not know this, I should really brush up on my Qun. :P

In other words; the Qunari Inquisitor is just an oversized human with horns and pointy ears.

Basically what you turn into in Fable 2, when you go the evil path :P

Not if my qunari has anything to say about it!  I have a feeling Bioware won't gloss over qunari being chosen as the Inquisitor's race.  They'll make sure to put some surprises in there. I also have a strong feeling playing as one of them will make for the most entertaining character interactions out of all the playable races.  Should be fun.

What they said.

it gets confusing because 'Qunari' is not a race, it's a culture. The Inquisitor is a Vashoth Kossith.

The question is will they allow us to hold traditional Qunari beliefs.

Eh, it had Michael Fassbender.  There's that at least.

The question is will they show the qunari Inquisitor lying down in bed after a "romance" scene.

Well, that's my question, anyway. Will qunari Inquisitors have unique love scenes so that their horns never clip through a pillow or something? Alternatively, do all Inquisitors, regardless of race, **** standing up? The people (I) need to know.

(we know the Inquisitor's vashoth and raised outside the Qun. Perhaps they can convert due to IB, but they won't have this cultural background beforehand)

I believe it was stated somewhere a while back that one of the plot lines would be very difficult to conclude on a good note if you played as a qunari.

Kossith is not the name of the race either... Kossith is just the name of the culture before the Qun.

We're Kossith, not Qunari.

And the Qunari in our group doesn't seem to be a rigid adherent.

Seriously people are still arguing about what to call this race?

It's either qunari OR kossith.  Both are correct and anyone who says that one is NOT correct is actually wrong.

I'm not surprised that some sidequests in the game are made easier or harder due to the background of the Inquisitor. There were several quests in DAO where outcomes or options changed depending upon who your Warden was, like Master Persuasion being required to side with the Werewolves, or certain conversation options opening up in certain areas based on the race of the Warden.

I loved being able to pretend to be a sick elf to the tevinter slavers in the alianage in DAO if you were an elf.

It's how it should be, not just that one time for Qunari players.  If we can go through the game righting every wrong with complete ease and not having to make difficult decisions, the game would be boring.

I'm really looking forward to having to make choices between saving my keeps or the villages under my protection, it seems quite interesting but if it turns out I can just send my troops after one and myself go after the other and save everything every time, that's bland, boring, fake choices.
