Turians and humans had only few months of skirmishes with only major battle at one small human colony.

I'm more interested in the timeline, setting and the story.   Is it pre, post, or sidequel?   Is there a canon decision made?  I feel like I got let down on ME3 due to bad writing and I fear that with some of the same leads we have  (ok, one in particular), it will all happen again.  If they are going to bork this up, then let me know now so I can walk away.

 

On a more positive note for the developers, I feel that they can recapture the glory of the ancients.  The MEU is an amazing and vast place with limitless possibilities.  I just don't know if I'm willing to accept anything ME related without my team of friends and Shepard.  It can be done, but you guys set the bar pretty high with ME1 and 2.

We might be lucky and get some Concept Art released, but other then that I doubt we will get to see anything major even as a in-game screenshot.

True, but at the same time the devs I spoke to at the Montreal Comic-Con said to definitely keep an eye out for N7 day. I'm sure we'll get something, just a tease maybe for an announcment later in the year, similar to what ME3 did with it's announcment (remember the teaser of the teaser we got with Major Coats on Big Ben)

Personally I hope for some clarification on the timeline and if it is a sequel, how they plan to integrate the Trilogy, a surviving Shep and her Crew if high ems destroy is an option in whatever system they come up with. Also, they said that there wont be "major" announcements. I don't think those are major, but a necessity by now. Plus it would not really take the thunder away from DAI as the info kind of caters to fans of the series that follow it more closely and actually keep an eye out for N7 day. A remastered Trilogy would be nice too though

Likely we might get concept art and maybe some pre-alpha/alpha screenshots.

I agree that it would be major news for fans, but I think that most other players wont care. For them major news probably would something like the location, bits of the story, gameplay details for the new game and so on.

 

We'll see. I am not getting my hopes up. Not yet anyway.
