Yeah, the lack of title and time period in this panel was disappointing. I get wanting to be playfully cryptic, but there are some things that really need to be divulged.

I get the funny feeling that with Schlerf (SP) the new head writer just joining the team a little over a year ago, and keeping it a secret he was on the team, that most of what was written before then got dumped into the space / time continuum shredder.  They may have been playfully cryptic because that's all they could be.

The hero has no left hand it's a snake like appendage from the elbow down.

No, it's an arm. He's holding a weapon.

Really, I just think they want to keep their mouths shut so as to not build expectation too much (Which has come back to bite Bioware in the past) and because they don't want to distract potential customers of DAI with news of a game that won't be out for another year or two.  Atleast not until its out the door.

I foresee a December announcement, like ME3

I want face scan in ME4.

And Bioware, don't be a dick like 2KStudios. Also do the face scan for PC.

Definitely true, still took me about 10 minutes to work out, though!

OK, this might just be my imagination, but in the bottom left corner of the 'crypt/vault' concept, I swear I can a see a robot that's a similar shape to a scorpion. Also on the 'road' running to the bottom right of the picture I can see 2 or 3 things that look like mechs.

After rechecking it, yeah it's the support beams not some robot.

Ah well.

Still doesn't make that place any less cool and interesting though  :)

Don't worry. Remember the N7 Day stream? Mac Walters talked about the ''Organics and Synthetics'' conflict. Was the only one he mentioned specifically too.

He mentioned it as one of the big questions they didn't afraid to ask in the trilogy. Nothing in his words suggested that it will be present in ME:Next

Oh ok. I must have misheard. Though seeing as how the theme of synthetics and organics was present and important throughout the trilogy (maybe even overdone towards the end of ME3), I can't see them abandoning it completely. I think it stands a very good chance of returning.

I'd count on that. Not as anything major but it most likely will be present in some way.

I agree with Vazgen. It's going to at least be mentioned surely, but I doubt it will be the main focus of the game. Assuming it's a post ME3 setting, the conflict itself will be dealt with, or at least not major enough to be a big problem for the protagonist.

The conflict is still a problem if destroy was chosen, but the whole idea of destroy is to leave it to future generations to solve the problem without resorting to Reapers. That needn't be the main character's problem this time around.

I think that's what they were getting at in the stream, it wasn't a comment made in hindsight.

Seems that way.

Well on the other hand - all the info we will possibly want will be handed out to us in 2015.

Hey, in the end we'll have had that much longer of a legacy to look back upon since you made it so early. :P

Well cash-in from DA:I has to have it's solid chunk of time.

E3 seems to obvious, but unlikely to have to wait for.

I think we will get a teaser in Q1 of 2015.
