N7 are strictly members of the Alliance, hence human beings unless a miracle happens.

No telling what N7 means after the Reaper war, considering this:

Wouldn't take much at all to make N7 an official interspecies branch, considering there are "N7s" of all shapes and sizes running around now.

Understandable, but I'm still of the opinion that there should at least be a choice in having different playable races. They've already proven that they can with ME3's multiplayer, and they've acknowledged that it's a pretty popular request. So why not?

 

At any rate, you guys should be glad that you aren't fans of any of Bethesda Game Studios' franchises. They're still clammed up like a nuclear bunker regarding their next game, and it's already been more than two and a half years since their last game, let alone four years since the last Fallout game.

I agree it's problematic. This stuff makes me as wary as everyone else. If I end up not liking what I hear about the game, I just won't get it. It's no biggie. But until we actually know something, I'll try to remain positive. Or at least not negative.

I still don't like the idea of aliens being playable. It's a bad move on so many levels. I'm aware plenty of crazy people with poor taste want it and don't see or don't mind the problems with it, though, so it isn't as if I will go on a hate-filled rampage if they do.

Very little: unrelated to Shepard, "N7" a thing, male and female "hero" confirmed, focus on customization, and a cannon-less Mako used for exploration.

Nothing like that was revealed today except the fact that the new game will be told as a side story during Shepard's adventures. It's not confirmed when this adventure happens or if it's a one-shot story, etc. Again, they used vague expressions to keep things just like that: vague.

To tell the truth we don't even know what type of government there will be after the reaper wars as a lot of government members are killed during the war, and seeing as the Alliance were kinda the main leadership in the war against the reapers, it would not be outlandish to think that the Alliance takes the place of the Citadel Fleet and becomes a bit more of a interspecies organization.

Yeah, the lack of title and time period in this panel was disappointing. I get wanting to be playfully cryptic, but there are some things that really need to be divulged.

I like being an N7 human, don't get all the hate. But it would be nice if they take the Dragon Age route and go multiple races and backgrounds. Human, Asari, Turian, Krogan and Salarian. It be more work and money but money well spent and the fans would love it. Also, can anyone guess the plot? I cannot think of a story for the next Mass Effect game! Maybe the Council races discover a new race and go to war....I don't know.
