Like I've probably said before ME3 does have an attractive quality because it's the most modern game and the latest known point in canon, which makes ME2 seem less interesting in hindsight whereas before I would imagine all sorts of ideas about in what direction the plot would go in ME3.
I play ME3 quite a lot even though most are partial playthroughs... my total game time is definitely higher in ME3 than in ME2 for sure.
I still hope in a remastered version that we might get some upgraded graphics besides a 1080p boost, which is nothing new to me because I'm already at 1080p at about 40 average fps on my laptop. Going back to the PS3 version is just... I mean, I dig controllers and vibrations when you shoot is cool and all but that framerate, that 720p and that lack of AF... it looks so grainy and choppy in comparison.
I mean it could be anything, perhaps a texture overhaul or a compeltely 1:1 face import across all 3 games. They could make their ME3 body meshes and face animation system work in ME1 somehow and make Udina black-haired or gray haired in all games.
No canon ending and no need to worry about saves? Hmmmm...
Reboot.
