Ist that
KlingonKrogan?
Yes, due to our recent, 100% totally voluntary vassalization by the Klingon Empire, we have decided to make some changes in order to adapt to our new target audience. Check the OP.
Our new Twitter avatar may help express the current situation:

Well, I don't hit twitter that often, so, I can't find the tweet right now (and I haven't even looked), but I seem to recall somebody from BioWare saying about a year ago that they were halfway through with making the game. Or rather, somebody asked, "Can you just give a hint? Are you closer to the beginning or the end of the game?" And the reply was something like, "Well, not close enough to one and not far enough from the other. So, I guess it's somewhere in the middle?"
Now, taking Jos's recent tweets about scripting an entire encounter in one afternoon... And the recent addition of artists and other developers to the team (from DAI), I'm thinking that they've got to be closing in.
Again, no inside info. Just putting two and two together (some of you might say 1.5 + 1.5 = 4), and trying to come up with something.
EDIT : Also, one reason they might be keeping it under wraps is because somebody stole (or datamined) the script and posted it for everybody to see. They did that for the last two ME games, I believe. If they do that with this game, I'm gonna be pissed.

Truthfully I would rather them keep it secret until launch. Not going to pre-order anyway, going to wait for the first reviews.

I really REALLY hope they pull a Beyoncé and announce and release in quick succession. I followed DAI's development for a year (the first time I'd ever followed game development) and it was one tiny titbit of information after another. I would get excited for 5 minutes and then get depressed when nothing new was released. I thought I was having fun at the time but looking back, it was miserable. When the game finally released, the hype had taken me over and while I really like the game, it's most obvious flaws feel like a major disappointment because I expected too much. I would say lesson learned but here I am again stalking the forums waiting on Mass Effect... I take solace in knowing I'm not the only one though ![]()

Yeah, never overhype. Actually, don't hype at all!
You don't want to have too high expectations, only to be massively disappointed.
I learned that hard way with ME3( as well Rome 2 Total War).
Something that should pay off for me now with DAI, since today I'll finally play it. I only expect a decent game and solid fun from it.
So be careful with The Next ME game. Just hope for a decent game at the most. If turns out of great, you'll be mindblown. If it turns out of just alright, you won't face disappointment. If it turns out bad, you won't be angry/depressed.

I used to do a weekly important dates countdown for Dragon Age Inquisition, so I figured I'd start doing one of Mass Effect. Maybe give us a little hope lol.

(E3 not confirmed to have any ME related appearance yet I don't think)

I just know that on the day that ME:N is announced, I'll be the first one in line (or one of the first) saying, "SHUT UP AND TAKE MY MONEY!" Pre-order or not.

ME next to release by April 2016?
No official word though, just industry analysts. Also, WCCF Tech is known to post about any sort of rumor there is, so take it with a grain of salt. However the timing seems probably enough.
Pachter is likewise not regarded as the most accurate person when it comes to predictions.

Well, it seems like the most likely release date at this point to be honest. That's the date a lot of people on these forums have been suggesting. It just seems like the most logical given it's development time frame. From November 2012 (development started after Omega DLC released for ME3) to April 2016 is roughly 3 and 1/2 years. That's more than what DAI got as dev time (from September 2011 to November 2014).

Hm I've preordered and paid it of completely but if they make it human only that will be cancelled and the money placed on somthing else. Silly I know but that's just how I feel and I personally know many others who feel the same way. If by some merical the next mass effect has multiple races then I will be getting the best one available when they announce them "sigh" but that's just how I operate when it comes too buying games.
"If the next game doesn't have this feature that none of the previous ones had and that no developer has said it will have, then I'm cancelling my pre-order"

How did the poster even make the pre-order? Never mind, apparently I can pay £65 (95USD) for Mass Effect 4 on Amazon. Who pays that much for a game with probably a year to go before release?

No more puppetry of the face please (looking at you DAI). I don't want to see Shep 2.0 gurning when he/she's in pain... or concentrating really hard... or just because it's Tuesday.

I won't pre-order 'til it comes out on Origin. 'Cause then I know that 1) BioWare (and admittedly EA) will get my money, and 2) They have some idea of how much it'll cost, but nothing concrete yet.

I'll take a wild quess at $59.99, you know because that's what all modern games cost. Not trying to be a jerk, just pointing out I think 95 is a huge rip off.

Not to burst your bubble, but I'd pay obscene amounts just to get a glimpse of what the developers are looking at.
Of course, then again, I know that I'd just get drunk and spill my guts. So, it's kind'a a catch - 22.

Ok, I just realized I quoted the wrong person sorry. Meant to quote Tex. I understand pre-ordering and a more expensive pre-order if it has extra features the standard doesn't, but a $95 on a pre-order if no such edition is involved(which sounds like you put $95 down now and get a refund of the difference, unless online pre-orders don't work like that) sounds like just wasting money now that could be used for more impotant things. If you can do it more power to you, but I find it wasteful.

Just don't pre-order at all. Far too often we gamers are being taken for mugs by being told a bunch of lies by the company's marketing department. If a company wants our money they should earn it by making a great game, not bullshitting us over content that isn't in the game.

This is just a speculation, not worth adding.
Sorry people for lack of interaction, I am being distracted with DAI.
