Besides getting a ship once again and possible return of Thresher Maw, we added all those.
I'm looking at the document now and it seems the bits on armour customisation and the exploration-themed design for the main characters were based on my post above, so I don't think you had added them, actually.
I don't think they were mentioned by anyone, before we had access to the panel video.

I think we'd be willing to co-operate with anyone who can make such an app, but we have no experience in app-making ourselves.
Still think "Known Features" merchandise should happen. Sadly, never found anyone willing to make some nice coffee mugs or T-shirts. Ah well.
Nice job on the Docs. I'm busy enjoying my last days of vacation, so you handle most of the work 8)

V-vacation?!Nice job on the Docs. I'm busy enjoying my last days of vacation, so you handle most of the work 8)
Most were mentioned before. Even a lot of stuff like armor customization is implied by previous features. Nevertheless, I added them just to be safe.I'm looking at the document now and it seems the bits on armour customisation and the exploration-themed design for the main characters were based on my post above, so I don't think you had added them, actually.

It's better to be redundant than to outright miss something.

Thank you.
While we already had put those on the Google Docs, this article clarifies lot more as it posted exact words that Bioware had said. Instead of interpretations and baseless assumptions some other articles did.

"The armour is designed to be customisable based on adding (or "snapping") of armour pieces to a base."
That's interesting! Looking forward to that. When I first read "armor is customiseable" I thought, 'no kidding', and remembered how the extent of ME armor customization was just me making my armor hot pink colored with camo-print.

This could be added along the wildlife feature. Are there going to be bigger creatures bigger than Thresher Maws? “…We’re looking at creatures of all sizes. It’s part of creating a galaxy that is rich and dense with all kinds of creatures, not just ones that are four to six feet tall. It’s something that we’re looking at for sure, but there is nothing solid right now.” - Mike Gamble
The uh... less slutty could make it in.Will we be able to customize our casual outfits? Also, can you please make the female outfit less slutty? ” For that second part, yes, totally. The way that our character artists have been building things in layers and in steps, it’s really unique because you can take some of those armor pieces off and they can be your actual causal outfits without the armor pieces on them. That level of customization applies to everything that you’re wearing.” – Mike Gamble
“We’re also working on an under-armor system where these pieces themselves [the exterior armor pieces] don’t have to be on the player at all times… Maximum customization and visual aesthetic.” – Mike Gamble
More detail on the armor customization system. Seems interesting enough to add.“The character art team is putting a lot of effort into making those hardwares [the armor set] as realistic as possible, in a sense that they could actually be built.” – Carl Boulay
Sounds like it could fit under Aesthetics. How is the new Frostbite Engine working for you? - “For us, animation specifically, things are going great… A lot of the the barriers we had [with the Unreal Engine] had fallen within the first week. Now we don’t even set those barriers anymore, we just keep checking how far we can go.. it’s just amazing.” – Carl Boulay
Definitely not vital, but it could go under the new development section. What are some of the difficulties of making the next Mass Effect? – “The fact that we have so many great developers on both sides of the fence (BioWare Edmonton and BioWare Montreal) makes it easier, the problem is time zones and getting face to face time. We spend a lot of frequent flyer points going back and forth to make sure the leads on both sides of the country are happy.” -Mike Gamble
Also, note to self to make a clickable icon for the Development section.

Thank you!
Yeah, that eurogamer article was one of the first sources that we used, I think.

"Mass Effect 4, where in the timeline is it? “It’s not called Mass Effect 4, damn it! What I will say is that (long sigh) you’re NOT playing as Shepard and Shepard is not a central part of the story, so you can assume whatever you need to assume from that. We want to give players new places to explore [and] uncharted areas that haven’t been explored before.” – Mike Gamble"
I hope it doesn't mean that this new game will take place during the events of Mass Effect 1-3.
Also, is it just me who doesn't really care about the Mako? The concern for me is that all this focus on the Mako suggests that we'll spend more time on each planet meaning there's less planets to explore leading to some kind of SWTOR scenario.

They're absurdly touchy about this Mass Effect 4 thing.
It's not called Mass Effect 4 damn it!!
What is it called?
Not Mass Effect 4 damn it!!
Fourth game in the series, no alternative title given, Mass Effect 4.

If you read it literally, it does not imply anything: it can be placed anytime... Shepard not being "central" can simply mean it does not even exists in the game.
But I'll take it as: Shepard will be known in ME4, meaning it can not be before Shepard's life time.
It will be difficult for them, I think, to keep ME4 consistent with all the choices you could have made in ME1-3, so it will be easier to put ME4 after ME3, maybe keeping Shepard alive (destroy ending) or cloned or resurrected once more.

haha it certainly seems like it. Have they given an alternative option to call it? Even if it was Project Newgame or something, that way questions can be asked as "Will Project Newgame have X?" as opposed to "Will Mass Effect 4 have X?" or "Will the new game in the mass effect universe have X?" (A mouthful).

I really hope it comes after the events of 1-3, otherwise the whole time I'll be thinking, where's Shepard? haha

Frostbite generally helps to make very large levels, so yes, I think they're going for vast spaces. Dragon Age is going with ten different enormous environments this time around, and they're aiming to fill them with content.
The difficulty seems to be in the tradeoff between the amount of levels, and making them feel unique.
The first game had plenty of "different planets" to land on, but they had about three things to do on each one, and in many cases just had skybox or texture/colour swaps to make them feel like different spaces. It was a pretty cool way to simulate landing on heaps of different worlds, but they were hardly memorable.
I think (and hope) they're aiming to recapture the sense of actually exploring space and landing on new worlds, while also making sure that the levels have appropriate amounts of content. I wouldn't mind fewer planets if it meant they weren't as empty.
