Hello, everyone. As the veterans amongst you might remember, we had a "Known Features Thread" in anticipation for ME3. Due to its success, it might be a good idea to start early for compiling info for the next game.

Honestly, the speculation on the part of the person Tweeting is ridiculous. Especially confirming said speculations as fact.
New galaxy? Didn't sound like that to me. Side-story? Not sure where that's coming from. The protagonist is human only? Hmm pretty sure they didn't say that....

It was said we will explore new region of the galaxy, not a new galaxy itself.
While so far it's only confirmed we will play as human N7, nothing on other species being denied nor acknowledged.
Speculation for Everyone! Just enough information to get people arguing, but not enough information to mean anything real. Here's to hoping the next couple of cons will have additional information to add!

I can't take the credit for formatting, my friend Phaedon did it for me. However he's rather busy so he won't be able to update often, hence I'm the OP. He was an OP for ME3 Known Features before. Sadly all but one image was killed, after BSN was reformatted.
Also, there might be hope our next default face heroes will be more ethnically diverse.

If next ME game is set like a century after ME3, Wrex, Grunt, Javik and Miranda may show up.
Wrex and Grunt because krogans live over millennium long.
Javik because Protheans most likely should live long too. As well Javik can only die in the worst ending, but that's pretty much game over as Reapers won.
Miranda because she can live twice as longer then average human.
However, I'm speculating. Nothing says yet will the next ME game will be set before, during or after ME3.

It depends on your dialogue choices with him. I think he only plans to off himself if you tell him he should view the memory shard.

Well this TIL could not have come at a more opportune time. Currently finishing up my canon playthrough (a long time in the making, pretty much replaying through the entire series just so Mordin survives). It's amazing how little you learn about a game over two years if the fanbase goes nuclear immediately following release.
Keep up the thread OP. Be sure to keep up to date with all the latest info too.
From ME game I do expect that gameplay will be less repetative then in ME3 (which was fantastic game and one of the most epic games ever) and I hope there will be some vechicles , maybe some "air"-combats (by spaceships) , maybe something similar like some missions in Halo series , also some puzzles would be fine , I believe in Bioware's team and I believe they will make a good universe again, story , characters and alot of epic moments but I just hope that gameplay is not going to be "go from point A to point B and kill all enemies on your sight".

I love Javik. I think he's the most bad ass squadmate in the trilogy. He's one of my favorites. But his story reached it's resolution imo. While he would be the one character I wouldn't mind seeing, I would still prefer there were no callbacks.

Can we move back to the ME1 art direction when it comes to armors? I mean I'm glad you got rid of the breast cups and all but still.
I was gonna write something up but EmCeeGramr from NeoGaf put it best
"ME1 had armor that was a range between light fabrics and elastic materials to heavy ceramic plating that showed how advanced materials had become in the future. ME2 and ME3 took that away and suddenly all of Shepard's armor is thick shiny metal suits of armor.
I've heard a lot of people (myself included) miss that older design."
