We've all had them, we all hate them. Quest screws. When you do something that you weren't meant to do and everything turns out weird, Ever had a room permanently locked? Ever had an NPC disappear? Tell your screw stories here! Today is the day!

I think either patch 1,04 or a workaround fixes all the gamebreakers.  I still save before and after all the major events with a named save so I can refer back if I need to, but I've never been locked out of an area.  Several players have had problems with dlc and importing characters, myself included, but for playing characters I've never had a lockout.

Funny you should mention the patches - those things killed the Blight-Queller cheevo.

After completing anvil of the void, instead of going straight back to Orzammar assembly hall, I went to another deep-roads location to finish up what I had skipped. Then I went to the assembly hall (not via Oghren dialogue)...the game got stuck in the hall and I couldn't leave it.

One time I completed the boss fight against Uldred in the circle tower, the game had a loading bug and I ended up at the tower entrance without being able to talk to any NPCs or leave the tower. I couldn't actually finish the Broken Circle quest because of it.

well in the Dalish Elf origin's first play i was hitted by the big meteor in the ostagar's bridge and felt down with Alistair into a battle of 2D Darkspawn... tried to get everywhere but realized that there was a lack of 4D that allowed me to be in the same space at the same time with a mountain... blame the maker, because the REAL CANNON is that greywarden was a female Dalish Elf who rejected Morrigan's ritual

Thanks for the tip, luna.  I always save before leaving the anvil, then do topsider's hilt in ortan thaig and the side quests i forgot.  That's the exact spot I'm in now.  I'll make sure to name some saves after them.

Well, I was playing today and was at Ostagar. I was talking to Duncan about the Joining and he said two different lines at the same time. He was saying "as the first grey warden" at the exact same time he was saying "we speak a few words prior to the joining."

It was weird hearing one man give two lines at the same time, and one of them wasn't finished by the time Alistair started going "Join us brothers and sisters...." although after Duncan finished the line there were no more goofs.

@dragonflight - I've had that one several times.  I've had Demon Mouse come in instead of Lord Harrowmont during the switching sides side quest.  That was actually quite scary, especially when one would say half a line and the other would finish with something random,  Alistair's convos glitch all the time, but he does tend to talk a lot.

That happened to me too. I was once talking to Morrigan at camp and suddenly, Oghren voice came over her line all of a sudden. Morrigan... what kind of potions are you brewing exactly?

That would be verrrry eerie, and appropriate.
