Just some random underwhelming facts & nothing substantial in the slightest. I pity the people that were excited and forked out cash to attend, & those that pulled an allnighter to get "fresh" info.
Safe to say SDCC panel was a waste of time.

reinforces my original point of SDCC panel being a waste of time then. a few random screenies & a Mako driving vid VS the amount of stuff they could show at Gamescom.

We won't see anything substantial not until after DA: Inquisition is out.

I don't think so. They've teased it at E3, talked (a very little bit) about it at Comic-con. I think we'll get an actual reveal before the end of the year. They did the same thing with Dragon Age Inquisition before it was announced.... although they revealed more back then.

I can't see if happening for one report said "years before the game is released". With how the community reacted to changes based on comments from Twitter I just can't see them really talking much about the next Mass Effect game until they have more aspects nailed down to the point of not changing before release.

Same here. It's ok, we have Gamescom next month, and Pax Prime.

This is where huge disappointments start.
People come up with all these wild theories and get all excited about stuff that will never happen.
Then the game comes out and all that 'fantastic stuff' isn't it.
People get mad.
People are retarded.
Lets just wait for the game.

From the video they released at sdcc i get the feeling they're still at early stages, yes... they have concepts they're thinking about, but it's to early to judge anything from what they showed to us so far. I'm not too excited about the game being set during shepard storyline. But since i think they're still prototyping stuff, and it's all speculatio,n i'm not too worried right now.

That was an impression by someone in the audience, right? So Bioware didnt give any clear information about the status? Its a shame. Sometimes I think, developers get more and more afraid of customers and the shitstorm-mentality.

Take a look at the video(the one about the Mako). It's pretty clear they are on early stages, so why would they start giving a release window now? ![]()

Again, you will be disappointed if you expect to see something substantial there.
Have they announced release year? I think not. I don't know how far along they are but 2016 wouldn't surprise me.

It's more info than we had at E3 ( you know, that show that's supposed to be the biggest gaming event of the calendar year ). It's amazing that Bioware can spend a whole entire hour at SDCC about the next Mass Effect and yet we've walked away from the experience with only 1 solid fact about it, how is it physically possible for people to talk so much and yet say so little all at the same time.
