The best I could do to create an Asian was black hair and dark eyes lol
Don't understand what made Bioware think the human savior of the galaxy can only be someone with a white face.
ME2 and 3 have 2 asian face shapes and arguably 3 eye types. I do think they need to revamp the creator though. I'd like to have a real beard and some longer hair for guys. Also, it'd be cool to have a voice actor with a more... neutral voice. I just couldn't create a black Shepard to resemble me because Mr. Meer's voice didn't have enough of a tone to fit. I like Meer's work but it was somewhat limiting.

Since the next Mass Effect game is on Frostbite 3 and not Unreal Engine 3, BioWare should have a lot more flexibility with the character creation and making more pleasing facial presets. I suppose it's possible BioWare could get another model to base the face of the protagonist off of. However, considering FemShep's image was voted on by the fans and Dragon Age Inquisition is gender neutral, I wouldn't bet on it. Companions will certainly be inspired either by models or by their voice actors, but BioWare will likely leave facial looks ambiguous to give players more choice.

I think I know what you're talking about, and I definitely avoided those options cause they were freaking ugly lol. I remember one particular eye option that actually kind of offended me because it was really narrow and so slanted, at an angle that isn't even physically possible. It made me think, wow, is that what they think Asian almond eyes look like?
Weirdly, they had way better Asian faces in DA2 (only two really, but better than none) ![]()
Bioware could learn a thing or two from Anet, who managed to make a whole variety of really good ethnic facial presets for Guild Wars Factions, which was based on East Asian cultures, and Guild wars Nightfall, which was based on North African cultures, i.e.

These might be too Barbie for some people's tastes, but you can tell they had someone who actually understood non-Caucasian faces design these looks. That's what I'm hoping to see more of from Bioware

and don't get me started on the default femshep for ME3, what a train wreck, maybe they should have got a face model for her.
Personal preferences and all that, but I actually find her rather attractive. She isn't beautiful in the traditional sense, but she does have that something that makes her pleasant to my eyes.
