This movie has had my attention for some time and I can't wait to see it.

This movie is going to flop so hard. Avengers 2 ocmes out same day and the track record is a hell of alot better then DCs clusterfuck they have been having for years now.

LOL. Yeah assembly line movie making is the Marvel plan. They've got movies planned out until 2060 by hiring talented directors and writers, stealing their film, and then firing them. And my grandchildren's children still won't give two sh!ts about their mediocrity and coffee fueled family humor. These guys have made about 10 films in 6 years where only one was great and two were good.

Because Disney really needs to inflate the score of a movie with Vin Diesel voicing a Tree. That's already cinematography gold.

I agree, but it is so let's hope DC can make the most out of it.

Nah I know DCE isn't all perfect and infallible. **** MoS was my favorite movie last year and I'm quick to call out Goyer on his pacing issues. I get defensive because everybody and their grandmother thinks it's cool to sh!t on DCE when they've only got one film out (and two on the way) while praising the mediocrity of Marvel Studios.

It's easy to make fun of DC because outside of Batman and Superman they scramble around like a chicken with its head cut off.

 

They had more time and didn't have the copyright problems Marvel had, AND THEY LOST THE RACE for a team movie.

Now Marvel Studios is sitting up there with Titanic and Avatar with the big money, and DCs desperately trying to catch up. Picking a director as its leader that isn't close to Joss Whedon in terms of writing ability, direction, or library of credible works (Buffy, Angel, Firefly and Serenity, Astonishing X-Men, Dr. Horrible). Trying even harder after the horrible production of Green Lantern (Apparently working on set was so bad Ryan Reynolds said he'll never come back as Hal Jordon).

 

I liked Man of Steel, but compared to The Wolverine and Pacific Rim it didn't hold up as well for me. If your weren't so defensive and didn't lash out as much as you do, nobody would be calling you out.

 

For example, I like the Micheal Bay Transformers Movies. But even I'm aware of their problems and won't get angry if people knock them, because I can see their side of the argument, and can debate their points healthily.

Zack Snyder is an underwhelming choice to helm the DC movie universe and the Justice League movie.  He does not have a good track record, both critically and commercially.  He is a visual artist, but he has proven that he does NOT know how to tell a character story: he does not how to build characters, he does not know how to build character arcs, he does not know how to give depth to characters.  I do not understand why Warner Bros handed the DC movie universe to him.  Which is why I think the DC movie franchises are heading into a disaster.

Sorry I just disagree overall. And folks seem to be forgetting that Marvel Studios while funded and 'guided' by Disney is it's own entity. Meaning they can afford to make 30 crappy superhero films a year (because that's all they're dedicated to) without affecting Pixar's, Disney's, ect. fiscal. DC on the other hand are all produced and distributed by Warner Bros. who do hell of a lot more than superhero movies. 

 

So people saying that DC is 'losing the race' are not looking at the facts objectively.

Nintendo used to do the same thing with Rare. I don't see the problem.

 

And looking at it from the perspective of DC cancelled a Justice League movie so many times Marvel beat them too the punch. Is the one people should take.

- I really don't like the casting much

 

- Scared it may have too much going on having all three of them with in the same movie with no ground work laid down for anyone but Superman

 

- Didn't really like the Watchman, Sucker Punch or Man of Steel

 

So yeah I'll wait on this one.
