I don't even know what he's saying anymore.
So I'm just going to elect to ignore it.
Besides, I told him if he wants to continue the kerfuffle then it should be done in a PM.
Not sidetracking the thread because it stopped being about BvS 2 days ago.
And NGE isn't among the things I like talking about.
Anyone watch Flash?
Decent episode this week.
Somehow making Quentin Lance tolerable is an accomplishment and a half.

I'll wait till the season is over and then just binge watch it on Netflix. I binged watched Arrow S1 and S2 on Netflix so it's for the best.

This is the Joker's look for the new Suicide Squad movie, I wish I was joking, but I'm not. The only way I'd be slightly cool with this was if this was before the Joker's skin got bleached.

Yh, it's kinda weird. Apart from the tatoo, I think he looks fine. Hopefully, he won't be running around shirtless in the movie.

The tattoos (specifically "Damaged") and the teeth are the worst parts of it.
I shudder to think what they'd turn Scarecrow into if he was in that movie. ![]()

*Imagines*

Scarecrow: "Curses, Batman! Get over here so I can hit you!"
*Batman throws a batarang at the piece of wood at the bottom causing Scarecrow to fall over*
Scarecrow: "I could have took you if you'd got in close! You're just too afraid to face your fears! I'll get you next time. Batman!"
Batman: *As he's walking away* "Enough with the Strawman."

Jared Leto's Joker reminds me of a Bandit from Borderlands sans the mask.

I think the idea is to distance themselves from Heath Ledger's look as much as possible.
It's a little extreme, but it's understandable.

Folks need to remember this happens whit every joker in carnation. Jack Nicolson wasn't Cesar Romero and Ledger wasn't Jack.

They could have just made him funny, which was something that Heath Ledger's Joker lacked (with the exception of two or three scenes).
I'm probably going to raise some eyebrows with this comment, but I preferred Jack Nicholson's Joker. Both were good, but I felt that Heath Ledger's was too grimdark and not funny enough. I like it when the Joker does something really messed up, but makes it funny so that I laugh.

Ledgers Joker worked for the setting The Dark Knight Trilogy had. Moreso than Ra's, Scarecrow, Bane, and Talia did anyway...
And Nicholson is classic.
Shockingly, Hamill is my favorite, just because TAS Joker is the most versatile version of the character.
He could go from a goofy story about avoiding the IRS,
To torturing Robin and turning him into a Mini-Joker.

That's not the Joker! Whoever designed it should be slapped upside the head with an oversized clown shoe.

I'll take it over the original New 52 version. (Which I won't post pictures of)
I love Synders run on Batman more than anything, but I have no idea who thought that was a good idea.
He got better from the whole having no face thing though.

I don't blame you, but if it's a choice between Hot Topic Joker and Zombie Joker I would rather see them kill him off entirely.I'll take it over the original New 52 version. (Which I won't post pictures of)

Scarecrow was mishandled by Nolan *insert rant here*.
Ra's was mishandled because they mispronounced his name, and they changed it from League of Assassins to League of Shadows.
Bane is a mixed bag, but they did pick up on one of the story lines from one of the comics where Bane was set to be Ra's' heir for a time.
Mark Hamill had the best voice range for Joker. Unfortunately, we're now stuck with Troy Baker. ![]()

Had they used that design it probably would have got DC a lawsuit or some headache. The people behind Repo the Genetic Opera were bemused enough with the comic if I remember right... Having that version of the Joker show up on film would probably ****** them off easy.I'll take it over the original New 52 version. (Which I won't post pictures of)

I think this new Joker looks like he walked off the set of American History X. He'll have to win me over with the performance.

Yes. TAS Joker is best.
Let's not forget this classic scene.

And I wasn't suggesting that version of Joker show up in the film, just that I've seen worse Joker designs than tatted out Joker.

Hamill is my favourite Joker, but I liked Jack and Heath a lot as well. I like seeing different takes on the character. Not sure about the design of the Leto Joker, though. One of the few casting choices in the DCCU I was fully behind, and now that. I guess my problem is that he doesn't seem like the man himself to me, but rather some kind of fanatic groupie, like a member of the Jokerz gang from Batman Beyond.
Also here's a new pic of Ben Affleck as Batman, in case it wasn't already posted:
Ra's was mishandled because they mispronounced his name, and they changed it from League of Assassins to League of Shadows.
I've had this discussion way too often, but finally having a Ra's pronounciation that made sense was one of my favourite aspects abot BB. "Raysh"... seriously, what the hell?
