DC has a huge path to travel to chase the production speed that Marvel is working at.

DC really needs to start up their own studio. That's the main thing. Because otherwise WB has to get a bunch of productions studios to work on the films.

 

Which makes progress slower since those studios have other movies to work on.

If DC can follow their schedule of 2 movies per year then they don't need their own studio. BvS and SS are looking pretty good. If these movies can actually deliver what their trailers promise then DC will have "caught up" with Marvel or at least gotten closer.

 

It's still too early to tell.  MoS's trailer was better then the actual movie. History could be repeating itself.

Superman movies on average have really good trailers.

And after Iron Man 3 I don't particularly trust trailers anymore.

One thing that is really bothering me after watching both trailers are the apparent ages of every old batman younger Alfred younger joker It just doesn't feel right especially with what they are trying to do we know the SS is taking place at least post MoS I am just not liking what I am seeing hopefully the actual movies can convince me and I think will smith can do that unless they go so far different of the Dead shot from arrow

This trailer is sooo misleading. Like when superman just burst through the air and eyes lazor and then the next scene you see batman escaping the red blast. First i'm sure it's not part of the same action scene. Batman would not be able to escape it like that. Not with a pissed superman or Sups would never attack Batman like that. Unless he's mind controlled.

 

In the scene where batman jump on Sups and go through the glass window. I think Sups just let's a pissed Batman attack him. Knowing full well anyway that Batman can't hurt him.  Maybe he's like.. - Yeah do what you think you should. I told you it's not me that destroyed Wayne tower , but the bad guys.

 My theory is that they are fighting (with wonderwoman)  a creation of Lex Luthor that destroyed a part of Gotham or Metropolis. ( You can see the destruction of the city with Batman flying above it). Which most likely Batman was the first to arrive at the chaos and superman arrived much later eyes beaming the monster. Maybe Sups was just captive of Luthor kryptonite jail lol or something like that. Or maybe he decided  to stop helping people when everyone started accusing him of saving the world ? Thanks to Luthor machination to keep Sups away with political bullshit.

It's too early to say if they're doing fine. But the Batman stuff is solid, and Wonder Woman looks great.

 

Hell, in my opinion they actually replicated Marvel's path with the Arrowverse.

He felt the need to put it on everything else.

Just put a stencil on it and spray paint it on with some shiny black paint.

 

It's the extra mile that counts. Superman will roll up to the fight, look at Batmans perfectly painted shiny bat symbol, and feel so embarrassed he forgot to put the S on his cape that he'll give up.

I think you're right. Ever since the Doomsday rumours came out I started to get worried - but we need something to unite the heroes. I just hope it doesn't detract from the overall Batman v Superman
But yeah, no way all the shots are lined up like that. And the whole destruction we see in some scenes is a clear sign of a unite-the-heroes-against-a-threat scenario
