Hence my reply to you instead of the original commentator, althought I do see that I failed to be hyperbolic enough for my reply to be viewed as humorous. I will try harder next time.

It's hard to tell 90% of the time.
Because DKT fans are numerous and sound just like your earlier comment.
The fault lies with me. Humblest apologies.

Wonder Woman, a strong amazonian warrior. The biggest comic-book role-model for women and girls.

I like a muscular Wonder Woman better too but people, please, don't start acting like Wonder Woman hasn't been made skinny before.

I prefer Under the Red Hood and The Dark Knight Returns but still Mask of Phantasm is up there at the top.

Looks like she's been hitting the weights for this role. Just compare it to the above pic of her.

I didn't say it was a good idea in the past either. It will look downright silly as soon as she beats someone up in the movie. Add her poor acting skills into the mix, and it will really damage the movie.

Looks really skinny in that pic too. You can actually see her chestbones in it.

Casting involves more than just finding the person who looks the most like Wonder Woman. People often forget about that and just go to Google and find a picture of some female MMA fighter and act like that would be the correct choice. There's more to it than that. Casting isn't always going to be perfect, but I give the girl credit for trying to build up her body for the role.

Faora beat up Superman and the army in the Man of Steel and most people loved it. I trust Snyder on the badass fighting part, at least. On the acting...... we'll wait and see, I guess.

Wow, you already saw the movie to know that her acting sucked in it or how silly she looks in the movie.
I think, as was already pointed out, Faora's action scenes in MoS were superb and she wasn't that much bigger than Gadot. Add to that that she has already been reported to have bulking up for the role, so the even use the example the picture you used is about as disingenious as it gets.

Faora was a warrior and she looked like one. Wonder Woman is one too, but the actress looks more like her lasso. It will look silly.
I am sure Batman and Superman will have their moments to shine, though.

I saw her in th fast and furious movies. The cars she stood next to acted better than she did.
So yeah, I based my opinion of her acting skills on what I had seen her done before...
There are pictures of her "bulked up shape" too. Guess what? She is still just as skinny in those pics too.
Faora's scenes were great, yes. Because the actress is a good one, and she actually looks like she can kick ass for real. And yes. She is way bulkier that Gadot is. She kicked quite a bit of ass in Pandorum as well.

I am sure she is trying, but its not working. + she can't act. She is a pagant queen from Israel. She has zero acting training and it shows.

To actually go towards something positive, speaking of Faora's scenes, I am actually looking forward what Snyder does with Superman/Batman fight as I never felt he got enough credit for the fight scenes in MoS. To me, he managed to really capture the sense of power, not just strength, of the Kryptonians in to those scenes, Faoa being a prime example, and really convey what it means when gods fight. Thus I am really rooting for him to manage to do something similar with Batman/Supermna fight and give it the level of epicness it deserves.

I dunno about her acting skills, but she did the same compulsory military service as all Israelis which means she's probably better suited to action roles than most actresses.

No, it's much better to be a part of the common rabble - like Rawgrim. I'd much rather rant and rave about the quality of a performance no one has seen yet.
How about we let Gal Gadot portray Wonder Woman before we declare she's a flop? Is that really too much to ask?
