Batman will probably try to avoid getting knocked out and win on points instead.

Batfleck has got the perfect Batman chin. Also the posters are nice. Simple but effective.

I say introduce it in Justice League.

I'm sick of Kryptonite after the continent thing.

Been over 6 years and I can't let go of how stupid that is.

What you should be sick of is Supermans invincibility.

They made a character so OP they had to invent a super-weaknes or equally OP enemies jsut to make sotires even remotely interesting.

Super Power escalation war. There are no winners there. The audience always loses.

You know the best thing, about this movie?

Apart from going to watch Affleck destroy Superman of course. (It's Batman, Prep time > anything)

More material for Collegehumour to use. Their Batman sketches have been phenomenal, I get such good laughs out of them.

Yeah no. I don't think you've ever read All-Star Superman, Kingdom Come, Injustice: Gods Among Us Year 1, or Whatever Happened to the Man of Tomorrow.

Good Superman stories look at his powers, his ethics, and how that affects the world around him. It's not about slugging it out with the next baddie. There are about 500 thousand other titles where you can get that.

You're defining Superman by his powers. Which shows ignorance not only to the character. But to the medium as a whole.

Also how isn't Superman relatable? You never feel closed off from other people or feel like you've been tasked with an insurmountable responsibility?

^Yep, the core of a good supes story is "Why does he bother being a hero? When he could rule as a living god?". It's not about who he can or can't beat up. He'd never pretend to be a god, which is why this trailer is not impressing me so far. It's not a new question, it's been asked an answered.

Also Superman: For the man who has everything.

Either the comic book or the animated version are a real tear jerker and made me a Superman fan as a kid.

Here's the best scene in the episode:

Because his powers are all he is. He has never been an interesting superhero before and he isn't an interesting superhero now.

And all Batman is is a Cool costume. Nothing particularly interesting about a rich guy with no parents.

Or original given Green Arrow and Iron Man both have the same deal.

I can play this game too if you really want to go down this road.

Thats not true and you know it.

But fine, I'm not in the mood for a discussion like this so I'll just leave it for what it is.

That... is just so wrong.  :?

I mean, it's totally okay not to be interested in certain characters, but presenting such opinions as hard fact is never a good basis for discussion.

Edit: Which you don't want anyways as I see now, so whatever.

I didn't state it as a hard fact. I stated it as my opinion.

I'm not a fan of Superman, but I don't mind him as long as he doesn't detract from other heroes. For example, Superman should never be portrayed as faster than the Flash, unless the Flash is specifically holding back. Not only would that be a violation of established lore, but it undermines Flash as a character.

This and the screen of Flash out running Death make me fanboy so hard.

Hoping they kick out the current person who'll portray movie Flash and replace him with TV's Flash, Grant Gustin.

Bring Tom Cavanagh along as well for Reverse Flash. That'll drown the movie in money.

Naturally, because Batman wins.

Prep time trumps everything.

Off topic, they should get better usernames lol. Pull a Despicable Me, and name one Dave, and so on so forth.

Terrible video. Plus Screen Junkie have a hard on for Marvel so it's not much surprising. The only funny moments was when Batman says 'Do I sound like Bale?' because everyone probably compared it when he first talked.

Wow this looks way worse than I had ever thought it could. That line at the end was the cheesiest thing I've seen in a long time, thanks for ruining another great idea DC. If this garbage is leading up to the Justice League movie I'll be skipping it for sure.

Batman would be stun locked by CIA's natural radiance. No prep time would help him.

Superman would loose too.

Superman is a meh character.

But granted, there are a lot worse, like the Hulk.

You say "why you talk about slugging it out?" I am taking about it because that's what most fans seem to talk about. X vs. Y.

Who would win?
I agree that cheapens the character, since there are far more important thing to a character then power, and I generally find the most interesting characters to be weaker. But power is a part of the character, and in case of Superman, it restricts him in waht kind of stories cna be told about him.

So no, I'm staying right here.

EDIT:

Is it jsut me, or is there a flood of fake trailers for this?
