I always ended up settling for any female character I made in either Dragon Age or Mass Effect, which ended up me not being able to finish the game because the character just kept irking me.  I hope now that I've moved to PC(new one comes in a few days) I will be able to use mods to make a female character not look completely horrible.

 

Male characters are easy for me though, bald or short hair, beard, blue eyes, bam.

I don't know how many times I tweaked and edited my canon Cousland until I decided to settle for the one seen in the avatar. There were a number of physical requirements to meet when it came to him!


As for Hawke, I just went with Varric's default for consistency.
