Wao ... will look like the 10th or 15th time I play DAO ... and always nice and I always enjoy the end time and then now I'm replaying it on the occasion of the 3rd chapter and so I wanted to build me a good character, but remaining in topic of the post, in DAO there an armor that is called "ancient elven armor" or something like that since I played the first time has always fascinated me, and then the last few times I've played I've noticed that armor quell ago by set and as a bonus and not bad for an archer ... but pultroppo noting that there is a problem on Wiky says that in the pC version there is a bug that makes the boots appear in the built-in Lothering, luckily for me this the bug solved with a small mod that "fixes" so to speak, this lack in pc version, but this evening I wondered if indeed this set for a ranger can fit, and counting that even having the expansion perhaps with a bow wooden iron I could make my ranger even more powerful. 

 

What do you advise me to use the set point u or other things?

I use it on my archer Wardens for end-game stuff... it's medium armor, so it requires a bit more strength. The set bonus is okay, if not archer-specific (+ something to DEF, IIRC) but what I really like the set for is the crazy amount of spirit damage protection... quite useful against the Archdemon, that.

 

And it's nice for roleplay, for a Dalish Warden.

The Ancient Elven Armour set is nice but nothing special. If you like the looks then you an certainly afford to use it, but if you are trying to make a strong character then there may be better choices.

It does look really nice, wiki says similar to the gear worn by elves in LOTR.The spirit resistance might be really useful when you fight the Archdemon. You need minimum 22 STR to wear it.

It's a set you wear for the elven roleplay.It's a decent medium armor set but nothing special.

you're right for the role play and perfect if you are Dalish, in fact since my Dalish elf will make him quell armor and too beautiful!

What would you recommend I use instead of this armor for a rogue archer?

Yeah, I also agree with your idea, I think it has some good stat like armor, in addition I had already tried (but without the boots because I did not know the existence of the bug before) and very strong.

There I did it! I finally completed the new elven armor! I'm so happy and I'm very proud!

and even stained with blood of darkspawn so the raid during my game!

I love this armor, enchanted with the winter forge and dyed with UDK, it is beautiful

My warrior Cousland "Popi" wore this armor through the whole game, including Awakening (until she got the Sentinel armor)... I upgraded the material with TWF (and added enchantment) to match her levels.
