Heres the semi body pic of her if anyone's interested Sasha Braus/Potato Girl put it up in the Could We Please See More of the Female Inquisitor thread.

The frame looks very similar to the DA2 elves and I'm glad that they kept it I liked the smaller more wiry frame.
Edit: ninja'd ![]()

Here's a screengrab where you can see a little more of her...
Yeeesh. I take it back. The first pic that I posted was much more .... flattering. I don't care for this model at all.
Remindes me of that Seinfeld episode where they riffed on the connection between good lighting and looks.

Yeah, I definitely think the DAI Elves are an improvement of DA2s. The eyes look great. I believe they said you can apply two colors to the iris (inner and outer).

If that's true I'm going to spend most of my time in the CC messing with that ![]()

From this pic it does look like a compromise between DAO and DA2
Body-wise, perhaps (though Sera looks fairly standard for a smaller human), but they still just look like normal, albeit extremely thin, humans.

I'm planning on playing as a female Elf for my main character.
so I'm very glad to see they can turn out as lovely as that!! ![]()
hope the Character Creator is fairly deep this time around.
and it would be really nice if we could customize the "default" appearance.

Think they'll give us an option to change the size of the ears? I really hope so I like giving my elves big ears if possible and the ones in that picture look a little stubby to me ![]()

Body-wise and the head, imho

I like it but that hair is the worst I have seen yet ![]()
I really hope they improve the hair textures before launch.

I really don't understand why people continuously make this point. Generally elves look like humans with pointy ears, sometimes people create elves that look a bit more unusual and that is all well and good but DA doesn't have to do this. Dwarves also look quite a bit like humans but I have seen zero people complaining about this.
DA2 tried it differently and in my opinion that went very badly. They don't look as human as they did in origins but they aren't the mess that they were in DA2. This is good. ![]()

While I agree that the texture is horrible I gotta say in my opinion I think it's the best short hairstyle we have seen yet, kinda reminds me of femhawkes hair. I've noticed the trend of taking previous characters hair that was unattainable and adding it into the next games CC (Duncan's beard for example). Gives me hope for a hawke like beard for my human/dwarf/(possibly) qunari. Really I would just like a non goofy short beard option for my dwarf XD

Sorry I should have been clearer, I just meant the texture. It looks worse than the textures in DA2 and that really does clash with the higher quality graphics and detail of the face. The style is fine but if they are all going to be short I at least would like them to look nice.

Man, the first pic looked much better, but that second one though.
Still with the anorexic body, and the long neck.

I just noticed her Icon is not that Inquisitor symbol so at least we wont have to have that symbol if we don't want to. I was a little worried about that tbh.

That particular tattoo? No, it isn't.
Tattoos in general? Yes. All Player elves are from a Dalish clan, and all Dalish Adults have tattoos, with the only exception being newly welcomed City Elves into a clan.

Well we don't know if we will be forced to have one. We weren't forced in Origins although it's a bit odd not having one as that is how people recognize a Dalish elf.
I guess your elf could have not been considered ready yet seeing as there is not official age when you get them but that would still only make sense for younger characters.

Those are my favorite ones, both look amazing.

I've always wanted to make my elf a bit curvier, and was hoping we would get a body slider this time but I don't think we are. I know they're supposed to be lithe but I don't know if its because her neck is so long but she looks a bit too frail.

dont forget it was all in Varric's head DA:2 was told as a story by Varric, so he may of exaggerated on what the Elves looked like

And I'll point out -- because everyone seems to have forgotten -- that you can CUSTOMIZE your character to look comepletely different from what has been shown.

THIS. Skyrim's elves look alien, and I love that, but DA doesn't have to be Skyrim. If the DA devs want their elves to be "pointy-eared humans" then they can do that.
