Since the game will be tougher to mod, will the devs throw us a bone and allow us non-standard hair colors? Blue, green, pink, etc, or perhaps a color slider? Have we seen details on that yet?

I don't think odd hair colors was ever on their list of priorities. Also at this point in the process you would have more luck hoping for a dlc that adds more customization options.

In real life, my hair is closer to orange, so I vote for vibrant oranges! Make it happen, Bioware!

Considering the BF4 mod, I doubt that messing with colors will be something that doesn't get done by the people who will mod the game just because they heard it's hard to do.

I think someone asked them that on twitter and they said they were trying to put in some unnatural colors?

Really? The chances of DLC affecting character customisation is next to nothing. 1 in 1000000 chance.

I say again: "Really?" If we're talking our actual hair colour in real life, being available in the CC, then in real life, my hair is a mixture of brown and yellow with an auburn/orange tinge (tinge/highlights, whichever). Make it happen BioWare!

I really want there to be non traditional hair colors in the CC. I've always wanted to make a character with bluegreen or purple hair (those are the colors I normally dye my own hair with) but always end up having to settle for the natural colors which are kinda boring for me. It would be really cool if there was a vibrant spectrum of colors to choose from.

It would look odd and out of place in my opinion. I think the closest thing would be orange, red and yellow hair.

I was playing the Destiny beta (amazing hair options in that game!) and I actually spared a thought towards DAI perhaps having funky hair colors...but yea, wouldn't really fit the universe as it's been presented thus far.  But who knows...maybe the exposure to the Rift/Fade grants us weirdo color options?  Green hair, anyways.

I'd rather them get natural hair colors right this time, before having non-standard hair colors.

 

Hair in DA2 was silly, too bright and weirdly monochrome.
