Thread closed.  Self-promoting link removed that denigrates both us and parts of the fanbase by misrepresenting a conference.

 

Suggesting that attending a conference called GaymerX (a conference dedicated to LGBT content) is us focusing on romance is disingenuous.  If you have an issue, ask GaymerX to hold their conference at a different time.  It'd be like getting mad that we'll very likely discuss the game at Geek Girl Con in October, and how some will undoubtedly (and incorrectly) feel that we're just focusing on the women now!  It's a conference, we talk about the type of content that fits within that type of conference.

 

 

Most of BioWare's marketing for the game has not been romances.  You're seeing what some fans discuss.  Our philosophy has always been romances as being optional content, and that is still the case.

 

It's likely that you're so frustrated with others talking about it, that your disdain for it causes you to overstate its occurrence based on what some fans talk about.
