I found the strongest wep combo. ( humsn biotic is needed) warning wall of text and maths (ewww) Now we need 100 effiency therefore adantage =velocity ratio. Now piranha with taser and smart choke is 70 weight there fore load is 70. Piranha has about 6 bps , and each shell is 200 dmg , there dps is 1200. So our mechanical advantage is 70/1200 ~~ 55.6. Therefore Vr has to = 55.6 for max effoency. Now spread of damage is really important ( it affects our damage alot) and range. Range is our de, and spread is our dl. Spread is about 5 megapixels( which using shepards ingame data average human height 155 cm) spread is 2cm. Therefor de or range for max effiency is 130 (cross multiply 2x55.6) . So the piranha is max effective at 130m range, taser and smart choke, human biotic. If you guys want to find effuiency of use this formula MA/Vr, or mechanical advantage divided by the velocity ratio ( its l/e / De/Dl)

Edit: if you dont get it, i understand its math + problem solving ( which is just engineering.) Refer to my lower post with paragrap to help understand math behind the concept of the efficient weapon

Oh, and sorry for the spelling mistakes ( makes the math more alien, I'm on my phone and tired since lockheed is breaking my balls )

Do you think you could include a diagram to help explain this?

What do you mean diagram? Ill try explain better in laments term. We want an EFFIECENT killing machina, right? Effiency is a simple formula, your mechanical advantage divideb by velocity ratio. MA is just load / effort. Think of it as a fulcrum system, where youre holding a load of cargo, in order for you to lift the cargo you need to put effort(effort is just force) same thing here. Your weapon is your load, and dps is your effort. Velocity ratio is just distance of effort / distance of load. Like a wheen and axle machine, spread is from load and range is effort ( stronger weps = faster bullets= more range ) theres ALOT more math, and because of this it may seem wierd and wrong. Now for effiency, we need 100%, which is 1 (50% is .5 etc etc) so 1= MA/Vr therefore MA has to = Vr for the most effiecent weapon

I know some of you might be thinking "wow this guy has no life, his doing math for a game" but weapon maths ( at lockheed we call it weaponeering ) is my job, and i learnt to love it

E = mc2

On Tuchanka we say E = c2m

c = 300(000) Km/s (who cares about a couple extra zeros? zeros have no value anyway)

Thus, E = mc2 = 300M = Claymoar.

If so, get your basics right.

Load is a commonly used term for 'output force', which varies directly with the DPS of the gun. Load is not the weight of the gun.

And effort is the input force, which in this case amounts to clicking a few buttons on your keyboard or controller.

Then c2 would be 90000 and E=90000M, and not the claymore ;) ...............Phew.

LOL....that doesn't change the basic physics. Load is always the output force, whether you consider a wheel-axle system or a gun.

Lol, nice one.

First, your formula is correct but the way you're applying it here is, for the sake of keeping it civil, wrong.

Second, wtf is a taser for a Piranha, how did you figure the piranha does 200 damage per shell (which is wrong btw) ? How did you figure spread was 5 megapixels (which is a very inefficient way to measure it Mr. Weapongineer) ?

Lastly, lol at the Piranha being most effective on the Human Adept at 130m. At that range all you'll be doing is pissing the bad guys off.

Dude, this isnt simple machines. Idk what major your in, but mine is weapons and aeonautics, and its a complete different ball game. Mass is load because recoil, an output force. Recoil is the one thing that stops engineers in my field designing pistols that sling out nukes

Pffff, on Tuchanka 300^2 clearly equals 300. I mean what the hell is a puny 2 going to change? :P

Also, you're arguing with a being of intelligence lower than that of a rock (the op I mean). I stuggest you just drop it and enjoy the popcorns ;)

haha sorry, lockheed jargon. Taser is your damage increase mod (we call it tasers since they shock you( not electruction wise))
