So, it's pretty much inevitable that some things are gonna go wrong and will be in need of patching. However, this time can we PLEASE have the BIG things, too?
A small part of me still hopes that when I talk to Alistair about the dark ritual, he will finally realize that I DIDN'T make him king. Alas, I know this will never be patched, even though BioWare probably recorded the dialogue for it.
Then there's Zevran, who goes and has sex with Isabela even if he was romanced.

Then of course we've got those oversights. Killed Ser Cauthrien, recruited Loghain, sacrificed myself, and who's that at my funeral? Ser Cauthrien! Nice to know she came back from the dead to pay her respects. Now that's dedication.
We've got the all-knowing Alistair. Don't do the Dark Ritual and he says, BEFORE Riorden dies, that either you or him will end up making the Ultimate Sacrifice (or, as my phone suggested, the "Ultimate Sacramento").
An Anders who was never made a Warden is a Warden anyway? I am willing to--just BARELY-- shrug this one off via BS explanations I've made up to account for this. Maybe he got away and some other, random Warden recruited him. Yeah, that sounds likely (not).
These I can live with, but then, in DA2, we've got an unrecruited Leliana acting like she and the Warden were BFFLs. Umm, okay then. My Warden didn't even do your personal quest, and a Warden you've never met, who left you in Lothering to DIE, is the best thing since sliced bread.

Now, I'm not saying that this stuff only happens in DA. I'm still waiting for Conrad to realize that I never shoved a gun in his face and remember that he should probably stop flirting with Jenna since he's got a wife at home.

This doesn't really seem to have anything to do with Inquisition.

"Feedback and Suggestions". I'm giving feedback on how I am disappointed with how these things were handled in the past and suggesting BioWare do a better job not to overlook things and patch major plot glitches in the future.

The way you worded your post made it seem like you expected patches for the older content. And Inquisition is using the Keep anyway, not imports, so there likely won't be anything in need of fixing on that front.

Bioware needs to set a canon for the story it wishes to tell. Far better that each game be standalone and that all choices be contain and affect only that game.

Bioware decided to bring back Leliana in DA2. They decided to set canon for her part in DA2. That is thier right since it is Bioware's story.

As far as killing Ser Cauthrien, look at it this way. She simply fell unconscious like members in the party do and recovered the same way party members do.

The warden coming back from the Ultimate Sacrifice was done at the behest of the fans who wanted to continue playing with their warden in Awakenings. So do not blame Bioware for that one. Bioware was responding to the fans.

Bioware has no intention of going back and patching old games. That is a waste of resources. As I and others (looking at Fast Jimmy) the save import needs to fade away.

Luckily, Bioware is using the Keep. No the keep will not consider all of the choices made in DAO nor DA2. It will allow the gamer to setup a world state that includes some but not all of the choices made in previous games.

I'm not complaining, nor am I asking that old things be patched. And *spits out metaphorical coffee* WHAAAAA?! No importing?! First I'm hearing of this!
As for Awakening, I know a lot of fans, myself included, who wanted to import a dead Warden and play as the Orlesian Warden.
I defended BioWare for bringing back Leliana if you killed her because she could've survived. It wasn't retcon.

And if your argument is seriously "it's their game so they can take away the RP aspects of their RPGs if they want", then I suggest you go look for a better argument.

No I stated it is their story and they can tell it any way they wish. It is up to the consumer to decide whether or not to buy it. No where did Bioware state that your choices were going to trump the story they wish to tell in the DA world in their games. Bioware has not taken the rp out of roleplaying. The gamer still gets to role play the warden. Hawke and now the Inquistor. Bioware never guaranteed that all of our choices would carry over to later games in the series.

The Save imports for both DAO and DA2 did not set all the flags properly.

Check out info on the Keep: http://blog.bioware....ragon-age-keep/

Gamers can log into the Keep with their Origin account info and apply for the Beta. https://signin.ea.co...lient_id=DAKeep

Bioware was still investigating ways to bring the save games into the Keep. The Keep will also allow the gamer to make a world state for DAI.

Meh, oh well. My original point still stands, though. Big issues shouldn't be ignored this time.
