Pretty much this.
Also expect the poster boy for the game to be a white male, probably with a buzz cut, like 90% of all games made these days. Not saying it's a bad thing, but that is how games are marketed.

It's pretty much nailed on to be this, sadly.

We'll play a NotShepard and travel through memory virtual worlds in order to play as other species in certain sequences.

We'll also have the option to switch the character we control in the regular squad, closer to those original showings of the combat in ME1.

Speculationz.

This statement right here is where DA fan have it wrong

Inquisition hasn't proven anything yet, sure the character can talk but when they all sound the exact same regardless of species it loses it appeal, while I do kinda like the female VAs and only kind of because I heard maybe 4 or 5 lines in total and that female qunari sounded way to..."light", I feel it should've been more husky imo (Pitch sliders better be the final game)

But again until I see it actually work, I'd rather not sacrifice the more personalized story of ME for 4 or 5 replaceable blank slates. One of reasons why Hawke and Shepard will alway appeal more to me than any Warden or Inquisitior

They haven't even shown all of them, and there were also talks about being able to manipulate the tone, ie lower, etc.

Only human and it's a good thing, it's not because in DA you can choose your race that in every Bioware game we need to have this option. Mass Effect is about humanity and their place in the galaxy.

BTW if you look at the DA stats it's like 90% of people played a human. So why even bother to lose your time and money for only 5 or 10 or 15% at the best ?

The best option is multiplayer just like ME3. You want to play with an asari or krogan ? Here is the multiplayer for you.

Didn't the same statistics also say that only 50% or so even finished the game?

Anyways, if Mass Effect continues to be about "Humanity and their place in the galaxy" even after the trilogy, I won't be buying much more ME-games. If they feature human-only protagonists but focus on themes that concern all species equally and don't give the spotlight to only one of them, I might absolutely enjoy that game, but if the whole game is as human-centric as the trilogy, I'll be really disappointed. Bonus points if you're with the Military again:sick:

Multiplayer doesn't count if the don't include a story mode of some sort imo. I want to roleplay an Alien, but I can't do that in Horde mode. Though it's better than nothing I guess. I never really played the multiplayer since I don't see the point in buying an xbox live Gold account just for that one game where I want to use the multiplayer.

It's a bad thing because buzz cuts are boring.

I'm hoping our protagonist is at least a mercenary type and doesn't need a military cut at all.

Yea ya these things right here are Inquisitions main problem. I can only compare with the miniscule shreds of dialouge and gameplay they've shown. As a wise man once said, Anyone can talk about something, but only afew actually mean what they say. Consider me skeptic at this point when it come to Inquinsition.
