Only human and it's a good thing, it's not because in DA you can choose your race that in every Bioware game we need to have this option. Mass Effect is about humanity and their place in the galaxy.
BTW if you look at the DA stats it's like 90% of people played a human. So why even bother to lose your time and money for only 5 or 10 or 15% at the best ?
The best option is multiplayer just like ME3. You want to play with an asari or krogan ? Here is the multiplayer for you.
Didn't the same statistics also say that only 50% or so even finished the game?
Anyways, if Mass Effect continues to be about "Humanity and their place in the galaxy" even after the trilogy, I won't be buying much more ME-games. If they feature human-only protagonists but focus on themes that concern all species equally and don't give the spotlight to only one of them, I might absolutely enjoy that game, but if the whole game is as human-centric as the trilogy, I'll be really disappointed. Bonus points if you're with the Military again.
Multiplayer doesn't count if the don't include a story mode of some sort imo. I want to roleplay an Alien, but I can't do that in Horde mode. Though it's better than nothing I guess. I never really played the multiplayer since I don't see the point in buying an xbox live Gold account just for that one game where I want to use the multiplayer.
