Meh the wardens getting betrayed means nothing to me but yes it is.
A betrayal the warden him/herself can do which really is another reason I don't take it that seriously. Pretty sure going through that mirror with Morrigan (or wherever the hell the warden vanishes off to if it's willing) counts as desertion.
XD I can agree with you on this.
Some may call it desertion. I call it some well earned vacation time.
But seriously, there's a difference between abandoning the war effort right as the Blight is bearing down on everyone and stepping through a portal after the mess has been cleaned up.
There were better ways for Alistair to handle the situation. Obviously he's emotional and not thinking clearly, which is part of the problem. But he could have simply gotten transferred to another nation as far away from Loghain as possible. Or he could have waited until after dealing with the archdemon before defecting; wouldn't even have to fight side by side with the warden and Loghain.
Does Alistair like the warden again if Loghain sacrifices himself?
I haven't done that particular one(in the one playthrough where Loghain sacrificed himself, I had Alistair executed), but I'd imagine he'd be more pissed, because no Loghain's going to be remembered as a hero.
Oh well. Six months later and him and the warden are at least back to cracking jokes with each other.
Nah he's a bit more chill I think he says something like it's justice of a sort. I think. It's been a while since I played that ending.
Well I suppose I was mistaken.
