This may make me look stupid but, how do you download the xbox pre-order exclusive on Xbox? Does it download autmoatically or will it download when I play the game or do I have to download it? Help please.

If it is like other games, you should get some sort of "code" on a piece of paper when you pick up the game. On it, it will tell you how to redeem the code, which will then let you install the DLC.

okay, I admit it. I am thoroughly confused, and I'm starting to wonder what's the point because there don't seem to be any positive solutions.
Here's a rundown of my situation.
I have promo codes for both the Inferno & Blood Dragon Armors. GREAT!! I have a CE Edition reserved so all I have left happens to be the Terminus. I'm fine with that.
Here's my problem. EA currently has my gamertags all over the place, and there seems to be nothing I can do about it. Between easportsworld & ea account manager, I really can't tell what's going on. This has been an ongoing problem that they just simply can't seem to fix.
if I put in my promo codes, how will I know it'll be attached to the right gamertag on xbox live considering that I have two EA ID's that I can't sync together. What's more frustrating is that.
Account One has my most used XBOX LIVE Gamertag while Account Two has my most used PSN Name.
I never intended it to be like this, yet I have no way to correct it. Each ID has a xbox live gamertag and a PSN name atttached to it, I just want there to be one ID. That's all.

I don't know how you can fix that, but I do know that if you log into the account you use here on BioWare Social from within your copy of ME2, and redeem your codes there, then you'll get your DLC. If the account you use here is not the one that the gamertag you'll be using when you sign in is associated with, then I don't know if that'll cause a conflict. But it's all I can think to advise you to try.

Contact EA support, and they should be able to help you consolidate your 2 different EA accounts into one account. You may actually be able to do that yourself as well at ea.com, if one of them is considered an 'EA classic Screen Name' (Added to your newer EA account as a 'persona').

IF you are talking about Mass Effect 2, I think that you should wait the 26th (if you're from the US) or 29th (if you're European) of January, in order to get it..
The reason you might want to download them now is that you kinda "bribed" the distributor to have the copy earlier than the street date :>

Oh, okay then. So I won't have to start the game to get the DLC? That's good. I didn't want to start the game before I finished my exams a week later.
