How important do you think the PC's race will be? Can you imagine any scenarios in which being an elf, dwarf, qunari or human would change the story positively or negatively?
What role do you think player race will have?

Laidlaw confirmed in a recent interview (which you can find on this very forum) that race will play a small role in the game, but, it won't play a role the same size as it did in Origins. For instance: A human inquisitor won't get as many stares as an elf inquisitor, but, in the end, you are still the inquisitor.

Here's the interview.

Shame. A different, small quest for each race might increase replay factor

My guess is that the race of your inquisitor will also open up (or close off) paths in some sidequests, like it did in Origins. Not the same as a full-blown race-specific sidequest, but it'd be something.

Yeah I'm hoping the quests are affected by character race. Even if it's not a huge difference.

I remember reading that if you play as a qunari one of the quests will be impossible to complete in a certain way.
