Are anyone else annoyed that we can't see all the abilities at the same time? For those of us who aren't rainmen, it's not always easy to keep track of our different character builds.

P.S. I blame it on THE CONSOLES!

You mean like how in Origins all abilities were on one "page", but now the different trees are split up into sections?

I don't think it'll wind up being too big of a deal, because my guess is that individual characters will probably only wind up using two of the trees heavily, maybe dabbling in a third, and you don't need to keep track of passive abilities since they're always on.

Once we get the hang of how the system works overall, should feel pretty natural.

Yeah, it looks awful. I hoping the pc - kb+m - version is different, but it's a small hope.

Like in Skyrim, it seems you can only view a single skill tree at a time.

Seems easy enough to cycle through them.

I don't think it's going to be as annoying as Skyrim, but an overall view like in DA2 would be nice.

Maybe one exists and we just haven't been shown it?

MESSAGE POPULAIRE !

Oh no. That means we'll have to take 2 seconds to switch back and forth between trees. Oh, the horror!

Besides, having everything on screen all at the same time? You'd have to make stuff really small and it will end up looking really messy.

DA 2 was like that too. DA 2 was released before Skyrim. Fail.

Console UI is console UI. It is possible it will be different on the PC which will have its own UI. If you are going to play this game on PC the complaint is rather premature.

I personally thought the way Origins and 2 handled it was rather unorganized and cluttered. It's really a matter of preference, but honestly this won't have a significant impact on game play.

If the devs don't want PC players to worry about what they see on the console UI, they could show the PC UI

The PC UI is not done yet. So instead people should just be less alarmist and a bit more patient considering Bioware has stated enough times already the PC UI will eventually be shown.

And even in DA 2 all skill trees were shown on one screen. I could be wrong but it seems that on consoles it was one skill tree just as with the DAI UI for consoles.

I find preposterous developers should aleviate every single worry as they are expressed instead of people being able to control their own emotions. Too often people expect the worst even if they have been told their worries are unfounded. Blind trust is bad but so is being mistrustful of everything.

The point isn't that you have to press extra buttons. It's that, yet again, developers tailor a game for consoles and launch it on PC, as well.

A few months before launch? That's pretty worrying.

You are assuming every person buying this for PC is worried about this

I'd guess they aren't

right now there is evidence maybe 4 people are worried about it

You mean I might have to move my finger more than once to go into the next skill tree I want to view?!

The unmitigated horror...

Am I still locked into a fixed 3rd person view, with huge UI elements that block out 30% of the screen?
