good
Skyrim is a better game than either DA
A few months before launch? That's pretty worrying.

Totally irrelevant.
Maybe one exists and we just haven't been shown it?
Don't see the issue, problem with Skyrim was that the UI was slow and clunky, this seems fast and responsive. I still prefer DA2s UI and menus the most but DAI's is OK, I would have preferred it if you could see a slightly opaque outline of the other skill trees on the left and right of the selected one. That would be a cool effect.
Not really that worrying in the least. The final UI often doesn't get finished until about the last month for a bunch of games I have followed prerelease.
Like Dragon Age 2, I'm hoping that the PC UI has them all on a single page.
I'm not fussed either way, but being able to see all of the trees on one screen and clicking on them as desired is preferable to scrolling through each tree individually. Makes more sense on a Keyboard and Mouse though, so it's hardly surprising that the console/controller UI takes the form it does.
You are assuming every person buying this for PC is worried about this
No I'm not. I'm just saying that expecting those PC players who are concerned, however many there are, to shut up and assume everything will be awesome in an unseen UI is unreasonable.
I highly doubt that is true here. The frostbite engine was given to them to use early on. It's much more likely they made sure they could make this kind of game work using a pc interface before they were able to fit the game into console parameters.
I fail to see what the frostbite engine has got to do with a final UI. A UI gets iterated throughout development of a game, often until the very last month. And the first and only UI shown for DAI has been console centric only. Fairly recently someone from Bioware mentioned the PC UI would be shown once it is completely done. This doesn't mean there is no UI at all but it could just mean the UI is still not good enough to show of.
And to anyone not believing there will be a KB + mouse UI:

Hey all,
PC interface is unique, we've said this in the past a number of times. Hot bars, mouse etc. We've also said multiple times that tactical cam is on all platforms which includes (PC, X1, PS4, PS3, 360). We've shipped a unique PC interface on all DA games before, there's no reason we would change that now.

For a fanbase wee really are a bunch of cry babies aint wee
No. You should expect quality for your money. I'm really getting tired of playing console ports.

First of all no one is telling anyone to "shut up"
What I'm saying is that people think because they see a post on these forums it represents some sort of groundswell that must be addressed by BioWare.
When in reality it is one person who maybe gets tens of people (that's probably being generous) to agree with them.
To be honest BioWare does a great job of posting in these forums and interacting with the fans when they really don't have to.

Why is it classed as being "cry babies" when people comment on something they dislike? Not everyone is going to blindly agree to whatever it is the developers choose to do.
Also, it shouldn't be considered "crying" when a PC gamer expresses a wish to see the PC UI.

Page 4. I get it, PC people don't like to click extra buttons.
I'll quote this again, for the 3rd time so the developers dont need to say it again for the 20th time for all those that spend all there time on these boards yet dont seem to read a damn thing

Thanks, I've not come across this statement before.
But my question was not whether or not there was going to be a PC UI - I know there is one.
I was questioning whether or not the UI is complete because it seems people are under the impression they've not showed it yet because it is incomplete.
This is what I am questioning: How do you know the UI is incomplete? They may not be showing it yet for a variety of other reasons.

Yes, that and people here misinterpreting comments...
I think it's a bit worrying Cameron Lee refers to the UI as "PC UI" there. If we use a controller, we get the "console UI," right? That's confirmed, right? Or am I misunderstanding things?

It is my understanding that you will be able to toggle between the "PC" UI and console UI (if you prefer playing with a controller), even on the PC version of the game. But don't quote me on this.

I'd guess they aren't
right now there is evidence maybe 4 people are worried about it
I would like to see the PC UI, not that bothered about this specific issue, but a decent number of action bars, shortcuts etc are pretty much mandatory to not feel like an after thought, want to see that kind of thing before launch.
If a game is ''dumbed down'' meaning less spells and abilities so everything can fit on one handy screen, it's the fault of console gamers.
If there are so many abilities and spells that they have to be spread out over several pages and talent trees, it's the fault of console gamers.
