If Flemeth doesn't show up, I'd be surprised. Given her talents at prophecy and being in the right place at the right time to nudge things in the right direction, I expect her to be the one who rescues the inquisitor from the cataclysm in the first place. She yanked the warden out of Ostagar and Hawke out of Lothering. Why not?
Will we get an answer about Flemeth?

I actually would be disappointed if this doesn't happen. It's like a DA game is not a DA game anymore. It's like an Elder Scrolls story would start anywhere else than a prison. I believe too that she's the one saving the Inquisitor from the blast sending him/her to save the world once again, the same as she did before. I don't know why, I guess she's just part of something bigger that has yet to be revealed.

So long as we get more Kate Mulgrew I'm happy. I don't need answers she can continue being cryptic.

We better. There's only so much mileage you can squeeze out of her showing up to be mysterious and cryptic without giving us any real indication of what she is actually trying to do.
I suspect we won't get anything close to an answer until the final Dragon Age game.

You should have a look at this interesting and lengthy theory about Flemeth and our Warden + Champion disappearance.
Well, very interesting theory. I've read it a couple of times and it does make a lot of sense. But here is a reminder, and I paraphrase Aveline: "Some people go on believing without regard then act disappointed when their theories are proved false."
What do I mean? A very good and well backed theory is still just a theory. Always, and I mean ALWAYS, entertain the idea that theory you believe may turn out to be completly wrong, else you are potentially setting yourself up for a huge disappointment. And it will be on you, not the writing staff, they are under no obligation to prove your theories.
I may have quoted a post, but that was for the sake of emphasis. I don't mean to direct what I said above at anyone, this was just a reminder.
Remember people, the Indoctrination Theory made a lot of sense too, even had a whole hour long documentary on it. All the keys of logic fitted on the logical keyholes and that theory was still proved to be wrong. Thread carefully with them theories and kudos for the creativity

Indeed, it's just a theory and could be false despite all the time its creator took to consider it.
What I love about Thedas is the lore. Very creative and deep, and there is room for so much possibilities and speculations!

She's obviously a very old woman. Regardless, I have this idea that we'll find out at the same time we'll find out what the deal with Sandal is...

Actually, Bioware said that was a valid interpretation of the ending, along with many others.
The Indoc Theory was never disproven.
And it has a documentary three episodes long, each episode lasting two hours full of information to support it.
Come on, now. ![]()
