The main story line as a whole? Isn't that 50 hours in itself?
It'll feel like a lot more to some, but there'll inevitably wind up being others still who blast through it in 20 somehow.

This is the only thing that will get me to do the EA early access, otherwise I can wait for access to the whole game, I' m not interested in a demo or partial access.I don't think the trial will contain the full game.
(I assumed he meant early multiplayer access.)
For those saying that they would prefer a demo rather than game time, DA II demo only took me about 40 mins to complete but lets say it was an hour. There are 4 races in DA:I so if you want to try each race you can set a timer of 1.5hours per race.
If it is indeed timed, i don't want to ruin to much of the main story, or any story for that matter so once we get out of the initial explosion an what not, i'd use all my time just exploring the scenery to get a good feel for the environment.
Also for those that want a demo, we may actually just get a demo as madden already has public demos (i think i know fifa certainly does) maybe EA thought giving access to the full game on them including multiplayer was a way of getting people who only follow sports to buy into the EA Access. As DA:I has no demo (devs have said this many times) we may just get privileged to a final demo they have used for the press.
You aren't taking into account the 2ish hours it would take me to make each character ![]()
But I actually think that there have been articles saying there will be no Madden demo for this game because of the EA early access. So it sounds like this is replacing public demos in general, but Bioware already said no demo for DAI itself.

I guys fans have figured out how to pay 2x for double time... if it ends up being 6 hours for DAI I'll probably have to go that route to get through the prologues and CC with each person lmao
If the early access is just the character creator...I'll pay $5 to subscribe. Then I'll have hours to customize my character - usually, as much I like character creation, I sort of rush through cos I'm so excited to play the game.
I'm extremely skeptical it will be just a character creator, rather than the more industry-conventional timed access to a set block of the game. There simply isn't a hundredth as much allure in placing a fragment of a product limited to avatar creation on the market outside of the very hardcore fans.

Yeah, I doubt it as well. If anything it'll be the CC and a little bit after that.
gotta admit, i do like the idea of the trials of both existing and upcoming games. if you like the way it plays, then you can purchase it. you know, cuz once you buy it you're stuck with it. so i like this. i just wish it was for more than ea games.

If EA Access is successful, you can bet your bum and the bums of your closest associates that more of these EA Access type things will happen

True. Ubisoft has already expressed interest. They're in a wait-and-see position now.

Smart call on Ubi's part.
I hope we get some details on what the DAI content will be for the EA subscription. I'm not going to sign up without knowing what I'm getting in return for my hard earned. Also, I'm a PC gamer and I'm not going to play the game on our XBOX when it's released to the public, so really unless it really is DAI 5 days early, I can't see much reason to get excited. If it's a big chunk of the game though I'll hand over my cash in a second and happily play on the console until release day. ![]()
