I recently re-installed NWN2 and am facing a rather annoying situation. The manual patches no longer exsist, preventing me from patching the game. The auto patcher cannot function because the server no longer hosts the nessessary files.

So any ideas? Does anyone have the nessesary patch files to hand to get up to v1.23?

It's funny, that this is the only game I have ever encountered thats given me so much trouble with patches. Even Baldurs Gate I has it's patches readily open to the public.

I want to also thank Arkalseth for the link! I have been searching for almost 2 weeks for all of the NWN2 patches. I had been to the neverwinter vault but for some reason it was not showing the last 2 patches or the patch from 1.111152-1.111153. I am also new to forums so if anyone has any suggestions or information on the nwn2 original campaign as it seems to be quite different from the first nwn game, it would also be appreciated. I seem to be having a hard time adjusting to the camera as well so any info on that would be great.

Thanks!! :D

Usually people with camera problems are using Character Mode. (the default settings have you spinning around everywhere)
But small changes can make a big difference.
Here are my character mode settings you could try.

Yeah, use "Exploration Mode", pressing the "*" key is one way to get there.

You can drag command icons (V key) and spell icons (F key) to the quick launch bar. Attack, follow me, hold, go stealthy, heal me are common commands I use.

Right click on something to designate it as a target.

Pause (spacebar) helps to give commands during a big battle.

Change each spell casters behavior to Scaled Casting and to not use inventory (otherwise they suck down healing potions like water)

I can never get them to drink potions enough!

i try to give all my cohorts some combat stamina but they just let themselves get killed even with 'Heal' potions

Who has the time to drink potions when there are cantrips to be cast at dragons, or Whirlwind feats to be used endlessly against a lone enemy? :P
