Gating speculation?

What sort of things do you think will be gated by your characters race? We know some quests will be nigh impossible if you are a qunari, and two of the love interests will be race gated. Any theories on what other kind of race gated content there will be? Or speculation as to what the Quests qunari have difficulty with might be, or which romances might be the race gated ones (Since we know it isn't just the ones who aren't announced we can speculate why the already released ones may be gated)

I'm thinking qunari will have the most difficulty working with anything you have to cooperate with chantry people to accomplish. Or reaching any compromises with Tevinter people who show up.

Think Vivienne and Varric will be race gated if they're romances

Interaction with nobles will probably be more challenging as a non-human.  I doubt there will be any flat out impossible situations, though.

People generally will be suspicious of a qunari inquisitor because they will not see any difference between qunari and Qunari.   However, I expect you can eventually win them over if you go about it the right way.  Strangely enough any real members of the Qun (apart from Iron Bull) might be even more hostile because you are a Vashoth.   However, this will probably be where Iron Bull's connections come in handy.

Nobles will find it hard to accept an elven inquisitor telling them what to do.   If you are sporting a very noticeable tattoo they may stare a bit as well.   By contrast, any dealings with the Dalish will probably be easier as they will be less suspicious of one of their own even if they are travelling with an assorted collection of other races.

A human or dwarf inquisitor will probably a degree of difficulty influencing the Dalish.   Not sure how they would view a qunari as they probably have not had much contact with them.   Probably more suspicious of human than dwarf or qunari because of past events in which the two races have been involved.   (Don't mention the Chantry)

At the end of the day, whilst your choice of race may mean you encounter some resistance at first, that ability to close the Breach is going to be a fairly persuasive argument to listen to you and give their support.

One of my main curiosities is dealing with tal-vashoth. Considering they made models for both gender of qunari I doubt they wouldn't use them. On the one hand playing a qunari might make you able to convince them you're a tal-vashoth...on the other hand they may think you're a spy sent to punish them for leaving the Qun.

And if you run into a group of Qun followers, will they be particularly angry about one of their species running around not following the Qun?

I kind of hope race has a big impact on the game

I especially wonder how female qunari will be treated. They're probably quite an uncommon sight in Thedas. And since Iron Bull still (somewhat) adheres to the Qun, how will he feel about fighting alongside one?

I don't. I'm playing a kossith Inquisitor so I can look and feel like a badass, not so I can experience fantasy oppression. Leave that to the elf and mage players; they're into that sort of thing.

Well he's from the priest caste right? Women join that and do fight in it, so he's probably used to it. Remember, the thing with qunari is women can't join the army, they still can join other jobs that happen to have fighting in them (Or kidnapping and brainwashing people/beating them into submission)

Iron Bull isn't from the military branch. He's from the branch with male and female members.

In that case, I guess he wouldn't care as much, but I'd expect there to be some confusion, at least on the part of the humans.
