The thought of MP is interesting. I'd expect it to be more than a copy & paste of ME3's MP though.

As fun as it was, also been there done that.

If it is, I'll probably take a look, but the SP game will be my main focus, and if it somehow doesn't live up to expectations, I'll probably finish it, and move back to Borderlands the pre-sequel.

Anyway, open minded, and if they come up with something fun and unique, I'll give it a go for sure.

If it's co-op something even if it's like ME3 that would be pretty cool. RPGs are the only genre that insists on being antisocial when it comes to MP. Whatever is revealed is going to be a flood of negativity and any flaw in the SP will be inevitably blamed on MP being added to the game lol. Would make sense why it was kept quiet for so long if it is indeed in the game. I'm sure if they do reveal something you'll see a lot of blame on the MP causing a delay.

Only by people who haven't educated themselves and/or are conspiracy theorists.  If MP is included, I, for one, won't be blaming the delay on that.  The delay allowed 3 additional playable races.  If other things, like MP (if it is in), also took advantage of the delay, then 'blaming' the delay on MP is a bit of a stretch.

Also - stop calling people that don't want MP in DA:I 'antisocial'.  Antisocial can mean that someone doesn't want company, but if they just don't want company in a single aspect of their lives, that is not antisocial, and calling it such smacks of looking to start an argument.

People who don't want MP, might prefer other means of socialising.  I know I do.  I can't think of anything less social than staring at my computer screen while a couple of friends stare at theirs.  It'd be even worse if those friends were at their house and not mine.  That's not socialising.  That's communicating.  If you like MP, great.  Don't accuse people that don't like it of having a disease or a mal-formed set of social skills.

I didn't say people are antisocial that don't play MP. I said the genre is antisocial. I mean story-driven RPGs rarely ever want to include MP in their games. That's what I meant by being antisocial. I wasn't accusing anyone...

What's weird is how incorrect the statement is anyway. Especially in the wake of games like Skyrim, where half the fun is regaling your friends with stories about your experience, RPG as a genre has become a rather unique social experience created around cooperative exploration of the content rather than head-to-head competition. In terms of what really drives Dragon Age: Inquisition, story is there, but I believe it's an equal part player-driven experience now with the focus back on nonlinear exploration and discovery.

Including a (co-operative) multiplayer mode is just the natural evolution of that.

Sorry.

Bad mood from lack of sleep. When a two year old has a cough, no one in the house is getting much sleep.

Again, sorry for the snarky post.

I'm only speaking for myself.

I hated the notion of MP in ME 3...then I played the demo on Xbox live. I've been a fan ever since.

If it's in there I think it'll be freaking amazing.

Here's my hope for multiplayer ME style but added onto to include story mode (mob wave format)

based on how you play the zones in the game for example tempz vs mages.  if you side with the mages you can play as the mages in multiplayer,  if you side with the temps you can play as them.  get bored as mages you go back to that zone in story mode and redo repeatable quest to change the zone so now the tempz are controlling it and you can play as them in multiplayer not the mages.

same for other zones race choices.

pvp could also be the same fraction base character style.
